ZG bought over a delegation of club officials to look at track preparation back in 2010 as the club were looking into staging a GP.They were at the U21s World Team Cup at Rye House,but after witnessing the track after 4 heats,most of them ended up in the Rye Tavern next door!!

Doug,that was something I questioned with Smoli yesterday as regards a GP in 2015 in Germany(info taken from this forum).He was sure there'd be one in 2014.

Always thought that BSI were looking to expand the GP series?

From what I heard yesterday Ghostwalker,the GP would be an extra round on the GP series calendar.Let us hope that this happens.

Speaking with Martin Smolinski yesterday at Birmingham Speedways Civic Reception,and he is sure that there will be a speedway GP staged in Germany next year.He reckons there will be an announcement regarding this within the next few weeks.

Below the belt comment regarding LS .The guys confidence was smashed after a very,very serious accident at Plymouth a few years back.I know for a fact at one point that LS considered giving it all up,as he hadn't got the confidence to get on a motorbike again.

I went to the corresponding fixture last season at Pardubice,and spent the evening in hospitality with Vaclav Miliks' sister who tried to tell me how the format of Czech League was devised.The amount of tactical reserves you could make almost matched the number of beers I consumed!!

Not at all!!There's a bar more or less opposite the entrance to the stadium! There's an even better one at the back of the stadium!!!

A bit of a 'downer' with the Gneizno v Wroclaw meet.being staged on 18/04/13 at 18.30pm.My flight lands at Bydgoszcz on that date at 21.15hrs.Could have been the ultimate weekend with this meet,followed by GP on Sat.20th and Torun v Gorzow on Sun. 21st!!
