A few years ago you'd be there with flags, inflatables and bottles of Bollinger!! It's fairly obvious at the moment(or maybe have been since season commenced)that Brum are a 4 person team.Who do we replace the under performers with at NL level? Enjoy the win!

Tram 22 to Bila Hora will take you very close to Marketa. If you want a beer near Marketa there is no better than this brewpub:- https://www.klasternisenk.cz/ Avoid pubs and bars in central Prague.Too touristy and piss take prices!

That was an absolute privilege watching The Brummies at Loomer Rd this evening.I even bumped into the legendary Potters supporter,Vog!

My first ever trip to Poland for a speedway meeting was in 2010 to Zielona Gora v Leszno meeting(couldn't speak a word of Polish, but am good at it now ).Stood in Sektor K with the Falubaz kibice(supporters).17,000 in the stadium and was almost full an hour before racing commenced.Away supporters were frogmarched from a meeting point to the stadium(more police than supporters). The atmosphere is like nothing else you will experience at a speedway meeting and if you're unfortunate you'll get tear gassed by riot police trying to leave the stadium, but don't let that put you off.

What fans?

And was in the same pub as myself in Prague last Monday, same flight coming home, and followed me up and down the same escalator at Tottenham Hale Station and then got on the same tube train as me. I thought I was being stalked!!

32 heats of speedway racing for £11.Beer £1.20 a pint, glorious sunshine, great atmosphere and the local rider wins the event. What a great weekend!!

Very enjoyable meeting. All 23 heats done and dusted in 2 hours and 15 minutes.Take a bow Christine Turnbull!Think this venue should hold a GP.Much improved since my last visit back in 2012.

Will do!

Cheers for the link regarding LT memorial meeting as I'll be in Praha on that date and am staying within walking distance of Marketa Stadium.

Looking forward to the whole weekend as i've never been to a ZP before.Haven't had my flights cancelled by Ryanair as yet.

Gardening Today with Bob Price and Cyril Fletcher would give them a run for their money!

Attention to the Dorset Knob(lovely biscuits by the way!!).Can you give us the result of heat 15 at Blunsdon Stadium tonight please?

Do you mean Latte as in Costa?

Priceless!!

There was also a ding-dong between the two of them in a Bydgoszcz hotel in 2010 before the GP

Sure is Trevor!Really like NRL(plus live State of Origin games) and NHL coverage they offer, plus the Rugby League World Cup later this year.

There's a deal just been offered on Premier Sports for Sky customers only(viewing card required).£25 for 12 months. Here's the link http://www.hotukdeals.com/deals/12-months-premier-sports-for-25-2694518

It's 5 years this weekend since the speedway world lost Lee Richardson. Gone but not forgotten.

You won't get tear gassed at a speedway meeting in the UK either unlike Poland!!

Couldn't agree more TDM.I haven't been near Loomer Rd since the generator kept packing up,awaiting an ambulance to arrive, and Jason Bunyan doing a lap in complete darkness, but tonight was very enjoyable indeed.

Another factor you forgot to mention was whether they were able to board a train at Rugby without buying a ticket in an attempt to fare dodge!!

I've used AB Everest on a few occasions from Modlin Airport to Warszawa Centrum and they're highly recommended.
