Don't push it boy!! You don't want to face the wrath of my scarf again do you?
-
OR Let's not! Until the future proves itself let us consider having a true racer in there again! One that may well have got back in anyway if the Up Their Own Ar$$es lot hadn't decided that the British Final was the one meeting he would not be allowed to compete in! Maybe this is the reason that certain people are considering Mark already, that and how his is riding again this season, now he is happy and settled again!

Deal! Shall we shake on it now!

As SCB says, Berlin was 2001 - I was one of the drowned rats there!
-
Tis true! just got out my programmes from 2000 to confirm that one! However, back then there were only 6 rounds compared to the 9 or 10 of the last couple of years, also the year that Mark won all were raced on real tracks not the one-off's that came in from the following year!

When Mark Loram was a Wild Card throughout most of the season a few years back and finished in the top 8 he did not automatically qualify. -
No!

Holta is 33! Not exactly young either is he? and let's face it Loram is a much more exciting racer and stays on his bike more too!

Still not 100% sure which of us drew the short straw there!

Very True! And as Scott and Floppy said, a rider cannot keep turning left coming down the straight! Still, it is what is expected from Hans! and those elbows.................!

Well I think most on here will know my views on Jason after Monday's antics at Belle Vue! However, he never touched Anton, and it does appear that Anton was just trying to close the gap as Jason was going wide! I have no issue with the result of heat 13!

OK Steve, name a young Brit that can mix it with the best in the GP's Go on............... Just one name will do! It's OK, I'll wait for you to think of one!

Another one of our large family passes away far too early! A very sad time for speedway yet again, my thoughts are with Toni's family and friends at this time.

There is a difference between Scott and Hans, with regards to their racing style/antics (I am well aware that one is British, one is Danish etc) Although I am forever getting into trouble for these types of comments, I like Hans as a guy, met him at the Bournemouth Indoor in 2001 and have never had any reason to change my views on him since then! However, Hans the rider is a totally different kettle of fish (where the hell did that saying come from? ) He takes being a hard rider to the extreme, maybe it is something that is taught mainly in Denmark as I know Nicki can be over tough too and Bjarne is working on it! Scott is just a hard racer, more often than not he will give his opponent room to race or atleast give them time to back off, this is the difference between the two! The incident tonight with Zager, although I felt Scott would be excluded from the re-run of the Semi-Final, I can see Tony Steeles point on this one! I have replayed the incident a few times now and do feel that Zager could very easily have stayed up, but felt if he went down that Scott would get excluded and he would get another chance! Same, I might add in the Iversen/Pedersen incident - Niels thought he would get another chance and a better one, after having Nicki excluded - that backfired too! -

I have disagreed with certain things that Scott has done over the past year but come GP's and SWC he gets my support 100% (unlike the other Brit ) Scott is a hard rider, but I thought that is what we wanted, we want our boys to get tough on the track, not to whimp out at the back! -
Hey my lopeared friend! Calm yourself! Life is full of Ups and Downs.

Kevin was fantastic last night! So what if there are other nations in the meeting! It is being hold in Great Britain and they are the ones that the majority are there to support! I have been to the SWC's over the last few years in Poland, Denmark and Sweden! Believe you me there are far more biased towards their country than we are at Reading! -
