  1. Please to se Steve Worrall scoring well. Got to help with his confidence. 15 months ago he looked as good as Richie.
  2. Lawson and Howarth flew around in the test match plus Rene Bach so I'm expecting a tight scoreline
  3. Watching him for Newcastle he is better than most of those quoted. Maybe he uses the NL to try things on the bike or just race fitness?
  4. Somerset are the form team. Newcastle could easily lose a couple of those home matches in hand, especially Edinburgh and Workington.
  5. Looked quick and tidy during his few laps yesterday. 63.7 seconds would have won a fair few heats but it will be gating skills that dictate just how good he could be.
  6. I said on the way in the car that I suspected this could be 75-15 and I was only 8 points out. Only Max Fricke was competitive for Australia. Dreadful meeting
  7. Just a shame this match has destroyed any semblance of competition in the test match at Newcastle.
  8. Teamgb averages 57+ Aussie averages 45 And at least 2 of the Aussies hate Brough Park. I expect GB to hit 60
  9. Newcastle's big plus point is they put up a decent showing at virtually all other tracks giving them hope over two legs (misplaced hope in the KO Cup but hey ho).
  10. Pleased Albin walked away (if not unscatched) from that ht2 crash. Looked nasty. Andrew Tully was on fire tonight. Would have got a max against better teams than the Tigers. Hope he can keep that form going.
  11. I'm in the Lakes today but planning to come back over. What is the forecast like?
  12. It was a joke. Apologies for the attempted humour. I won't do it again
  13. If you've not used it www.laterooms.com usually has good deals. Just put in the track postcode and you can sort the list by distance.
  14. We need to play on Redcar's terror of "Right turn Richie" A narrow Redcar win is my prediction 47-43
  15. Everyone knows that that track will be slick and gating will be paramount. Whilst inexperienced, both Cook and Worrall can gate well. On a track where passing was difficult that would have been enough to score more points than the incumbents did. On a general note, it is all a bit like trying to get a job when you're 18. Companies are looking for experienced staff but are not prepeared to give anyone the opportunity to get that experience. GB were never going to win the world cup so we should have been planning for the future.
  16. Only problem is that ITV4 has lower audience numbers than speedway does
  17. Just asking like. No noise restrictions. Land aplenty. Government money. Someone should at least be exploring it.
