Poole will almost certainly win both legs, far too strong for the Gladiators but I think we've probably got as good as we could have with who is available. What will make it interesting is which Sedgmen and Summers turn up. Either of them are as likely to score 0 as they are to get a max as they basically gate or they come last. If they gate, we may get close, but I'd still expect Poole by 10-12 tomorrow and by 20+ at Wimborne.

Edinburgh - new home required….

Gutted for you Monarchs, hope another solution is found shortly. -
You realise the only one who thinks your sarcasm and tongue cheek posts are funny are you, right? I know you only post this garbage to get a rise and in the 10 years or so I've posted on here I've not actually risen, more laughed at how funny you aren't but I'll give you this time I've risen. At least the Poole boys will be so far in front tonight there's no risk of them fencing any of the Plymouth boys for a change.

Complete farce, feel sorry for the Plymouth riders tonight and for the promotion. This should be postponed a week for the good of the sport. Lets face it Poole are winning this over two legs regardless of whether Plymouth have Hans back plus stronger guests or not but at least it could be more of a spectacle for supporters. Instead Poole fans will turn up to see 60 precessional laps of 5-1's and frankly if they don't achieve that questions should be asked of the home riders, they'll enjoy it because winning is all that matters regardless of entertainment value. I wonder if a few of the Poole boys will deliberately miss some gates so the fans get to see a pass. The knock on impact being only a handful will turn up at Plymouth next week which is a real shame. Ah well good old British speedway, at least Poole will be okay...

Whats the betting that after tomorrow's inevitable rain off that BB's hearing this week gets postponed / outcome delayed... -
Why does everybody hate Poole?

The answer is in the Plymouth v Poole thread for the playoffs. Poole have always had far too much influence at the BSPA, yet their fans are completely in denial about it. Own it! -

Plymouth have no chance in the playoffs with guests and what they now have at reserve. It's a huge shame as prior to the injury curse Plymouth looked the team to beat and could well have ended up in the top 2. As it is they've limped into the playoffs and I can't see us winning another match (home or away) with Edinburgh or Poole next. Unless by some miracle Barker gets cleared and Gilkes becomes fit, I think any team will fancy their chances against this Plymouth side, 3 months ago, no-one would have. Hope I'm wrong but I just don't see the strength there at either top or bottom end. -

It's a good question this, I've often wondered when a club has no official meetings left why they can't then be deemed 'free agents' and redeclared in a playoff team. Seems crazy that riders are ruled out due to their averages. I mean Plymouth have the option of several guests to fill the various vacant positions but a rider like Harris for example can't be used due to his high average, however if we re-jigged he could fit in. Not that I'm saying I want Harris (not at home anyway). -

Just logged onto the stream to hear them say the track was unfit to ride. I have to say that's pretty indefensible. But apparently that's speedway. -

The thing that interests me about this post, is that because you made a trip down south for this meeting and feel like it's a wasted journey you call out Plymouth as a club and suggest they shouldn't be in the league next season. I'm very keen to understand away from the utter selfishness how you came to that conclusion? Even worse is that a number of people liked your post. When I see so many people post in some many threads about clubs going to the wall and how the sport in this country is dying, I then read ridiculous things like this. Moronic comments! -
Based on his scores this season (and last) I'd argue that's not the case at all. Did I say anything about our previous guests? I simply said Flint will be a poor guest at number 1, take your Berwick hat off and see it for what it is, a rider nearly two points below the average we have to play with who has never scored well at Armadale at this level is a poor choice of guest. Suggest you do some research and have your facts straight. We agreed to sign a replacement a while back but it was blocked...We've played within the rules, crap rules, I'll give you that.
