  1. Only quoting official averages, with the ridiculous rolling averages no doubt.
  2. Unlike Reading Swindon still have a track and stadium they can use while they wait tho.
  3. He didn't. 8.39 in 2012. His last stint with the Pirates.
  4. Depends what averages you use. Speedway Star has this year's averages as Hans 8.04, Freddie 8.36, and KK 8.51. So little more than half a point between all 3. Feed is closer in average to KK than Hans. For me when averages are that close it's what they bring to the table team wise. I'd have Fred over both from a Wolves perspective and for upping their game when it matters. Anyway Poole fans seem happy with the KK signing so it's only now on our own perspectives.
  5. Well said. Riders like KK and Zagar are no way in the same bracket of top flight consistent performers. In fact very few are. Ward prior to his injury was another consistent scorer. Lindgren had a period of 3 or 4 years as top man in this league but like so many of his class counterparts find consistency in the current race format hard to maintain. AJ is another that has thrived under the race format we have had for a few seasons.
  6. Correct , he was head and shoulders above every EL rider for 3 or 4 seasons. A maximum from any rider is a rare occasion in this current format so a flawed point of view. There is about half a point difference between KK and Lindgren this season so hardly a glowing reference as to how poor he is. And a force on the World stage again. You know what you get from KK consistently inconsistent. However in a Poole jacket he seems to raise his game 10% so time will tell if that changes in 2017. Lindgren has improved his average and form in 2016. Feel free to argue those facts are wrong.
  7. Maybe he is past his best .. A term I know you like to use about riders.
  8. You mean how often have I stated facts? Correct me if I'm wrong. I love how every time you have to bring Lindgren in to the conversation as some justification, a rider you often mock and berate. But I guess that's okay tho. A rider that has proved he belongs on the world stage and has improved his average really has peaked I guess. It's quite comical actually.
  9. It's standard fare when you dare mention a Poole riders frailties.
  10. More than happy with Lindgren thanks. Funny how you fail to mention KK being sacked 3 times in your assessment of a flying KK. Trouble is he tends to be flying home with a P45 as often as he does fly around Wimborne road. KK easily the worst visiting rider to Monmore.
  11. Have to disagree. You don't get sacked by 3 clubs because it's only happened a few times. We know most of the riders have off spells or struggle for periods in a season. KK has probably the worst example of off form or disinterest of all the modern day top standard riders. I doubt it will happen for Poole, however one thing you can be sure of with MF. If it does it will be sacking number 4!
  12. Once wasn't it before the outings in the UK in October?? I wish they would just make the decision common knowledge!!
  13. he made his Wolves debut in 2009 however signed as an asset in 2007. So I find it baffling why he even thinks he deserves one! He rode 10 of the past 11 seasons if you include his NL spell with Scunthorpe. Clearly not everyone does. Facts are the vast majority of Cardiff will. So if he doesn't get a great reception you might have a point. You didn't this year as your mission to make TW out as public enemy number one exploded on you the minute he received a heroes welcome in Cardiff and being back in the EL. He has lost a few more naturally by his decision to not ride from for GB next season however not many hate him the way you do (and some of your cohorts). The average fan at Cardiff will only be too happy to see the best British rider in modern history in action on home shale.
  14. That's your opinion and shared by a few more no doubt. Let's hear the deafening roar at Cardiff to challenge that belief. The article quotes his own announcement on social media.
  15. It has been commented on. It was confirmed he has been reassessed at 7.22 (not sure if that's his reassessed average X 1.4 or not).
  16. I've seen a bit of Greaves at Birmingham the past 2 seasons and he has barely improved from his 1st season. But you are right he is still young and learning so you never know I guess. Think most teams will be swapping and rotating there number 7's next season. If there is scope to bring in a stronger reserve to partner Clegg, I'm sure they will like any other team with a 2 pointer struggling. As for Skornicki - once he has had a few competitive meetings he will be fine. He has proved he is the man for the big occasions as already demonstrated with Wolves and Poole. Come the talking end of the season that's when Adam will be able to step it up. I have no real issues with Adam coming back unlike some. I'm glad we have gone with the Adam & 2 pointer combo because there was nothing on the points available to give us any other benefit to what we already have. As already stated I think we would have been weaker. A stringer reserve to partner Clegg would have been an advantage but there is nobody likely who could come close to remotely replicating what Adam is likely to bring.
  17. Disagree. Lindgren, Thorssell and Woffy have not ridden for any other EL team.
  18. Whilst the rest of your post is remarkably fair that suggestion would make us even worse. Palovaara will no way match anything Adam is likely to do (I reckon Adam will get about 6 point average season end - quote me on that if you want) whilst Ayres is all entertainment just lacking in points ability at this level. A slight step up from Greaves who I agree is weak but has several similar ability/standard riders to race against at number 7.
  19. Yes we know your opinion Steve, you keep telling us. Just ignore it when others says the same thing tho won't you. As for the comment on emotional attachment you are a fine one to talk! We have put out line ups I haven't been impressed with and said so in the past. In a much weakened league when a team can retain 5 of its title winning side it would be crazy to not consider them a strong side. Just my opinion of course. Poole always have a decent side and whilst on paper you look strong there are more question marks over your assembled side than most which makes any Poole fan being ultra confident potentially set for a much bigger fall. There are consistency issues over virtually every rider. KK and Hans strong on paper - a tendency to go missing when suits. Brady - was a big let down at the most important part of the season. 2nd season syndrome? Jack -highly rated, unknown in the highest league. Newman - won't be scoring big points in the main team like he usually does, a drop to reserve would be good for Poole but not for his career. Klindt - the most in demand rider yet the most unpredictable rider from race to race. Shanes- nothing to prove with one strong reserve all season long. In short, I'm more happy with our assembled 1-7 over the Poole side.
  20. Come on then, let's see it so we can judge yours supposed better line up.
  21. And the team that made them look 2nd best in October.
  22. Just waiting for Shovlar to give his opinion on the Wolves team. He normally says the same thing about 4 times a day. Wonder if he rates us or not.
  23. Aah bless. You are probably the sort of person who thinks it's funny to mock illnesses. No wonder you aren't popular even on your own thread Daz.
  24. Think most are likely to have Wolves in their top 4 starting line up, and it's easy to see why. So you keep on saying. We all know you like to put down most seasons wolves team. You said the same thing this season.
