  1. It isn't. You appear the only person mentioning it. Can't say I have read anything about this anywhere.
  2. Don't you read?? I agree he got told no. Dear oh dear, almost as ridiculous as your KK committed to British speedway comment. That's the 3 times sacked committed rider you mean? It's fine to have a different opinion so no issue.
  3. So either your national title is something to be proud of or you can pick and choose to suit. You can't defend the one and not the other. Can you name me where I have defended Tai's request for a testimonial??? Here is a clue, you won't find one. Yet again another theory of yours smashed. The Oz riders not going home to ride for their national title is no different to Tai choosing not to ride in his national championship either. You can find excuses why but they aren't different.
  4. So Holder, Doyle, Ward (prior to injury), Batch and all the top Oz riders of recent years go home EVERY year for the annual national title. Greg dont compete in American title anymore, nor Tai in UK. There is no difference. Next? If you want Tai to ride every year in British Final then I assume you expect the same of Holder in Oz. Tell me, how is Holder getting on in the Oz titles? Or is he doing exactly the same as Tai in 2016? Perhaps you have a response to this?
  5. Thanks for the info. Looking good for the Stars in 2016.
  6. Correct. Everyone rides on paper .......until March.
  7. Does Greg ride in the American national championships every year? Do all the Oz riders go home to compete in their national titles? Just as prestigious as the British title don't you think? As already stated I'd prefer Tai to ride in the UK over other leagues but like virtually every top rider they go where the money is. Little to gain for Tai racing in a weakened league and it's a disgrace the top flight has become as poor as if has. Tai not riding here is another chance for the haters to hate. Don't you remember the dreadful side the Russians put out a few seasons ago when not one of the top boys rode over here?
  8. Emil and the Laguta brothers did it regular. Think you class them as world class. Think their protest was something to do with lack of support by its national body, sounds familiar doesn't it!?
  9. http://speedwaygb.co/news.php?extend.22534 didn't have a British club at the time either. Sounds familiar doesn't it?? that was the original date, think it was postponed and rerun the following year??
  10. Are you seriously trying to suggest that those who go to Cardiff have no idea what goes on in speedway and only the folks on BSF hold him in scant regard?? Completely laughable Steve. The majority of British fans will forgive him anything because his is the golden boy of British Speedway. They are just as entitled to that opinion as you or I or the the Tai hating troll. then there are the savvy British speedway fans who believe that everything about his actions are wrong and everyone needs to follow their lead. The BSF is a tiny representation of speedway fans opinions. It does not represent the majority in any form. Again, that's to do with the ridiculous expectation of the BSPA from the previous season. You are going to have to do better than that. We all know the multi poster and Shov are 2 of the biggest anti Tai brigade. This is just another attempt to try put him down. Like you say I haven't yet read ONE supporting post for him to have a testimonial so I've no idea why some still want to go over old ground on other issues. I haven't read one on here although plenty of support on social media which again proves the point that here is a tiny representation of views not as Shovlar suggests a majority. I'm still outraged that the poorly committed Pole Kasprzak even got one who doesn't qualify by 10 years service either!
  11. To be announced at kings Lynn tonight. It's all over the forum.
  12. The Diamonds look a strong team on paper compared to others so far announced. I hope Ash can continue his steady improvement.
  13. Just want to wish Zack all the best. Was a great joy watching his first season and I hope he can continue on his improvement next season.
  14. No I'm not. I think I'm pretty clear where I stand on Tai. The request for a testimonial is barmy. I'm disappointed that Tai has chosen not to ride for team GB but like Lee Richardson and Scott Nicholls before him he is making a stand. His reasons are no different to either Lee or Scott. As for not riding in the UK, I'd rather he did of course however I'd rather Greg, Nicki P, Emil et Al were riding here as well. Tai has no different reasons to any of those mentioned or suggested. So don't try and suggest I'm saying something that I'm clearly not.
  15. yes we are ALL United on this rather bizarre request from Tai. Including me. I still maintain that Tai will have the biggest cheer at Cardiff. Feel free to quote me if I'm wrong. It was belle Vue fans booing him, nothing more nothing less.
  16. I must admit the minute they gave KK one its clear they are no longer giving it to riders for giving 10 years of consistent commitment. They got that one wrong then.
  17. Bit like a Cradley fan having a dig on a wolves thread you mean. I thought it was highly positive, but there you go.
  18. he still gets my respect for what he has earned on the world stage. The 2 or 3 boos must have been drowned out by the 30 plus thousand I guess.
  19. Nan Joannie Taylor. I don't know how we came from a fairly friendly amicable forum to one filled with bile to some. It seems the fun has been replaced with attack and the multi aliased posters. Sad really. There are some really good knowledgeable decent constructive posters around however many threads are spoilt with "my club/track/team is better than yours".
  20. I remember everyone saying the same thing this year. However, that said dropping GB world cup commitment could see a few switch off their allegiance.
  21. It's certainly going to be interesting seeing what new talent is unearthed in 2017. Personally hoping Hume and Smith are back tho. Plus Bacon if he can be fitted in.
  22. Excellent start but predictable top heavy which served no purpose in 2015. The lower end will be key again. But definitely agree good signings so far.
