  1. Still think it depends on the quality of the number one. Not so apparently, Wolves announcing theirs tomorrow at 10am.
  2. True, I’m thinking more in the instance where the best team leading up to the play offs lose one of their star men.
  3. Fully agree with yours and Bobs post. Plymouth have done everything and more to get the track and stadium up to scratch. Probably one of the most productive management teams in the business right now. Absolutely brilliant news on their elevation to CL, the signings so far. I wish them all the best and hopefully look forward to another visit this season and also may I add a very good racetrack which every track needs.
  4. He can only ride in one other league, not two.
  5. I think there is probably a huge difference between Swindon’s win in 67 and today’s league structure. Swindon were probably well secure when they won the league when teams topping the table won. Nowadays losing a heat leader for the play offs severely weakens you. just the way things have changed.
  6. I doubt anyone actually thought it was true tho!
  7. Seems to be have been taken down as can’t find it on there now.
  8. Odd as Wolves would have him on low average. Personally don’t think it’s true. Things are ok thanks, like everyone else things are tough in the lockdown.
  9. He rode some league matches last time he came back for end of season so should be much higher than that. I’d be completely shocked if this is true and furious that it’s not with his parent club. personally speaking I think it’s a mock up.
  10. Fully agree, plus as already previously stated there aren’t enough riders to fill all teams.
  11. Scored 2 in the U19 final and 0 in the U21 although he did come 2nd in the Caledonian which was won by William Lawson.
  12. And struggled in the 2020 competitions that were run.
  13. I’d agree in the UK they appear pretty much similar standard. Didn’t both ride in Poland in 2020 as well?
  14. Brennan for me is top pick. Don’t get me wrong I rate Kemp highly and think he will probably be the next youngster to make headway in Poland. Kemp will be at Ipswich I would imagine even tho they have named Rowe?
  15. Brennan would be a dream signing. Has to be the best option for any team to sign on potential as far as I’m concerned. It really is simple and explained in the press release. CVS wants riders BASED in the UK, Jacob is based in Sweden. we know riders fly in and out to race usually. There is nothing usual about racing in any league right now. A rider had to go, it was obvious to me it was going to be Jacob with the rest based in the UK.
  16. We know that Jacob will be based in Sweden so I can see the Wolves logic, however there is nothing stopping him signing for another UK club although I don’t think he will.
  17. The fact that Poland have allowed riders to sign abroad means at least riders have the option unless Poland change their mind which wouldn’t surprise me either!
  18. Unless they have changed the rules I believe you couldn’t ride NL if your CL average was 4 or above or had no CL team place.
  19. Of course yes flexibility is paramount. I think the whole ‘rising star’ ethos is false advertising. We have plenty of suitable ‘youngsters’ (U21 or little experience) that should be able to satisfy all teams. I have a sneaking suspicion that some clubs would try include someone like Hurry at number 7 but I hope I’m wrong.
  20. Of course, but he said he needs to concentrate at establishing himself in the 2 higher leagues. Plus obviously his average is too high now anyway.
  21. There has to be , otherwise Paul Hurry could be considered a rising star.
