  1. Good luck to the Aces, they deserve some success for a change.
  2. Thank god that's sorted. Glad you got the points difference understood as well.
  3. You don't read things right at all. I made it clear it was the points difference swing but as expected you don't read the post properly. So having finally used a little bit of brain power and realised the mistake you made you checked the stats. Both teams finished on 28 points. Leicester scored 4 more points at home. Wolves scored 25 more points away. In your world a huge difference. In the real world less than a hair splits them. The table shows Leicester above Wolves, but please don't argue that they were a much better side than us because you have nothing to back up those claims. If anything we scored more away points than them yet there was only 4 points separating our home tally (the important one).
  4. 2009 winners and play offs 2010 exempt of course.
  5. Thanks! In truth us, Hammers and Leicester have been pants this season so anyone of us deserved that accolade.
  6. It's a clear struggle for you isn't it. In the table Leicester are 6th and Wolves are 7th. Neither have any credit for their seasons. The reverse example you suggested would determine 1st and 2nd with the winners getting all the glory whilst for 2nd it would be so near but so far but sounds like a good season to me. I guess I will have to try again In a more simplistic form next time.
  7. Because he has already stated there isn't much wrong with the track and the riders praise it.
  8. I'm sure DH takes more notice of what the riders think of the track.
  9. No, both teams would be praised for having a great season probably. With the team at the top crowned champions. But if some would like to celebrate 2nd from bottom then crack on.
  10. Technically Wolves were higher than Leicester for 95% of the season.
  11. I expect to be ribbed when wrong and happy to gloat when right. Seems fine with me!Nobody expected Leicester to win there last 2 away matches and good on them for doing so, they have proved me wrong and I'm prepared for the ribbing! However the reality remains they finished above us only by the slimest of points difference margins. It provides some comfort. Edit - well done to the Bees for the win tonight!
  12. I'm saying those names every night before I go to bed in the hope one morning i wake up in the winter that it's true.
  13. Both finished on 28 points and Leicester have a 4 point difference swing. Equal, not better. Both are tripe. But feel free to see something that isn't there.
  14. Just an odd comment to make from a neutral perspective IMHO. Still each to their own. It was the first time they won at Monmore. Would have said it didn't make much difference who beat who other than some warped bragging rights, however the win on Monday most certainly counted. Both have been tripe this season so I hardly think it's anything to be excited about. In saying that with Leicester adrift all last season and just one week off bottom all this season maybe Leicester feel they have achieved something for a change. We've laughed at your lot in the basement before now so I can see the appeal. :
  15. Whoever finishes bottom deserves what they get. Thems the breaks.
  16. In any fair play world it wouldn't even be a consideration.
  17. So are you suggesting all Wolves fans ditch their team then? If Swindon fans had done that they wouldn't have even reached the 00's as they club would have closed under the same criteria.
  18. What a silly comment. You think it's more important they let lakeside have a point than go for 2nd place finish? Barmy.
  19. They ARE carrying on as per that's the problem! The play offs bring crowds flocking and help to balance the books of those in them. I never claimed they were the only thing that is good about speedway. Plenty is wrong with our sport and the promoters continue to gloss over the cracks. Play offs give speedway something to celebrate and make happen. Plenty hate them but we would be in a much worse place if we didn't have them. IMHO
  20. Besides up to 2 weeks ago Leicester had it in the bag. As far as im concerned Leicester, Wolves and Lakeside have been dire the vast majority of the season, none of those clubs can come out with any credit this season.
