You don't read things right at all.
I made it clear it was the points difference swing but as expected you don't read the post properly.
So having finally used a little bit of brain power and realised the mistake you made you checked the stats.
Both teams finished on 28 points.
Leicester scored 4 more points at home.
Wolves scored 25 more points away.
In your world a huge difference.
In the real world less than a hair splits them.
The table shows Leicester above Wolves, but please don't argue that they were a much better side than us because you have nothing to back up those claims.
If anything we scored more away points than them yet there was only 4 points separating our home tally (the important one).
It's a clear struggle for you isn't it.
In the table Leicester are 6th and Wolves are 7th. Neither have any credit for their seasons.
The reverse example you suggested would determine 1st and 2nd with the winners getting all the glory whilst for 2nd it would be so near but so far but sounds like a good season to me.
I guess I will have to try again In a more simplistic form next time.
No, both teams would be praised for having a great season probably. With the team at the top crowned champions.
But if some would like to celebrate 2nd from bottom then crack on.
I expect to be ribbed when wrong and happy to gloat when right. Seems fine with me!Nobody expected Leicester to win there last 2 away matches and good on them for doing so, they have proved me wrong and I'm prepared for the ribbing!
However the reality remains they finished above us only by the slimest of points difference margins.
It provides some comfort.
Edit - well done to the Bees for the win tonight!
Both finished on 28 points and Leicester have a 4 point difference swing.
Equal, not better. Both are tripe. But feel free to see something that isn't there.
