  1. Methinks that few of us qualify to be in control of a bike with no breaks and representing club and country either. The sooner some stop making excuses for the behaviour the better, and to justify a comment with non of us are perfect is unbelievable. Well said.
  2. Shame all the teams he rides for doesn't follow suit.
  3. Bit of a generalisation. I see plenty trendy kids and adults at speedway meetings. They are probably in the minority tho. Not sure its as low as just 7%. Part of the image is to do with the product(s) that can be bought at most Speedway facilities. Or lack of variety (style)
  4. Interesting reading, a lot of it i expected in all honest. Put should be a good read for those running the sport.
  5. Shame really. But cannot disagree with that at all.
  6. Think that is what we all have to assume. He certainly isn't contesting it despite the lame `misquote ` remark.
  7. It is yet to be seen if its the end of the behavour however. And when he has been allowed in New Zealand can we say its time to move on.
  8. LMFAO I would make a comment about it being a Poole thing ............................ but they do have some decent, friendly supporters. Just a shame they don't post on here.
  9. Indeed. We do not have the depth or back up of years gone by to seriously win a final again for quite some time. However GB deserves a boss who wont be misquoted and at least back up a rather inflammatory remark.
  10. You do sensible men a disservice. Please do not tar all us sensible men with the same brush as someone like yourself. It is certainly the way society is going. And one as a nation most of us are appalled by. Wont surprise me you if you get many likes for this post. Says it all.
  11. But aren't they on record saying they stand by the quote? Hardly likely to issue an apology anyway are they!.
  12. I am so glad we agree. And name calling went out when you went into senior school.
  13. Good to hear that Ford is taking the stance with the seriousness we would expect. It is just a shame there is still no follow up from the man he employs to manage the Pirates who apparently condones Darcy`s behaviour and the behaviour of kids of that age. I seriously hope the FIM and governing bodies ensure they do regular and random drug tests on Darcy and all riders because the sooner we give out the message that drug taking has no place in this sport the better (except for those on the forum who think it is perfectly acceptable to have a bit of weed every now and then of course).
  14. Plus quite possibly they may have been given information via a source or tip off? It does happen doesn't it.
  15. aaah, thanks for the explanation. To be honest have never applied so i had always assumed that your country issued it. Surely the UK can still say no like other countries that require them? Oz and America tend to be quite tight on them?
  16. Agreed. I cannot believe that some are so niave as to think its just a simple an easy thing to deal with. Having his passport and visa from Oz gives no guarantees he will be allowed in the UK, He could still maintain he has no convictions (from this latest issue at least) but any exploration from any border/passport control will uncover that the incident is on file and could easily choose to refuse entry. Nothing is certain just because Oz have given him his visa.
  17. Because they want the rest!!!! Of course there must be plenty in the know who will speak out and say (like silencergate) that Ward wont be the only one worried if tests are introduced.
  18. Not really a surprise is it. Still sad news. Am i the only the thinks its timed with a due announcement from the Bees as to who will be the new manager?
