The change is purely for sales, no other country outside Poland, Sweden, Denmark are likely to win (Australia is exempt unless it is hosted out of season which to me has great merit) and besides the UK would be financial suicide for any country hosting. Great for other nations to have a chance to host but have no chance of making the final so seeding to the final is the only option. Whether that is right or wrong is a different matter.

Decent meeting with some decent races, Seemed to run through much better with the time lag difference. Fair play to the Latvians, think they made everyone sit up and take notice. However if Russia had been at `full` strength then Latvia would probably have come last. They have some good uns coming thru, hope we get to see Bogdanovs in the EL this year (at wolves would be nice please!) Unfortunately the Aussies are just too weak to make it past Thursday. Ward gave it his all but went missing when the double points were on. Poland, as professional as you like. Such a shame that Russia have got themselves into a great position in the World ranking and now will have to go back to qualifying again! There federation should hang its head in shame for not looking after their top boys. And we think the BSPA is bad!

Exactly, its just a live feed that Eurosport have taken up! The only difference will be in the presentation. Thankfully (tho not for some) we get Nigel and Kelvin back for the rest.

It isn't a `general feeling`. I have seen as many pro as against.

My point is that some are happy to write him off as beating no-one and is only in to get the British vote hence why its ok to slate him before a wheel is turned. He has ALREADY shown in one round that he his more than capable of doing just that. Do i expect him to make the top 8 season end? I think you would struggle to find anyone that thinks that. Will he have some stinkers along the way (or as its known `doing a Harris?`) i would expect so yes. Will he win the odd heat and make another Semi? On Saturdays showing more than possibly. Think most people will have him down to finish 15th in what is perhaps the best top 15 in quite a while. For me the likes of Kasprzak, Zagar have just as good a chance of 15th as Tai as neither have consistency in their tank. Like you say, lets see season end. If Tai continues to take the odd win and makes the odd semi he wont be all that much adrift even if he does finish 15th.

The only predictions i think are harsh are the ones that say a rider/team will/wont do this or that. To say Tai will only see back wheels is harsh and has already shown that not to be the case. Sometimes its fun to rubbish such claims!

With some saying that he is expected to be stone last before a wheel has been turned, perhaps those comments shouldn't have been made in the 1st place! A top 8 start is a good way to start, lets concentrate on that instead.
