No as long as the line up fits under the average cap and as long as they use two swedes they can choose freely which riders they want to use. Apparently Ponus Aspgren will be registered as a guest rider so that means that Smederna still have one slot to fill in the main squad.

I thought the conclusion was that it isn't allowed to do so, judging by what you said about Rasmus Jensen riding in the DMU qualifiers last season on a Danish license while using a Swedish license in Elitserien? Imo a rider should not be able to pick and choose. If he/she decides to change licenses / nationality then they'll have to accept the consequences such as not being able to ride in qualifiers due to larger competition from other riders of the same license/nationality that he changed to. Not being able to use the old license/nationality for int. champ. qualifiers but the new license for league racing.

AFAIK Lahti have picked up Swedish license and passport. I also think that Lunna intends to do the same. At least will ride on a Swedish licence, not sure about the passport.

Realistically speaking though, does Finland even have any riders to send to SEC?

No, the squad is 7 riders with an average of 0,501 or greater + two guestriders (fpr which there are some limitations, don't remember exactly what at the moment). The cap is for the 7 riders that you pick for each meeting and it is based on season entry average. Reserve position is based on floating average.

So far, nothing has been released.

According to a comment on Smederna's facebook page, Kenni Larsen have not been cleared by the doctors yet. The squads are due three weeks from now which IMO makes it unlikely that Kenni will be part of the initial squad. Pretty quiet on the signing front at the moment but it is till another 4 week until the squad declarations are due. Some top names like Nicki P, G. Laguta, N-K Iversen, Piotr Pawlicki and Matej Zagar still haven't signed a deal for next season. It will also be interesting to see if any team have the guts to sign Milik. A good prospect but he comes with a very hight average (2.000+). Then for Smederna, the question is whether or not Kenni L is fit for league racing next season. If he is reasonably fit I can't Smederna not signing him, I think that Smederna will be interesting in supporting him after what happened to Kenni. He has also been very loyal to Smederna and is said to have a, relatively, cheap contract.
