The rremaining rounds; Round 12 (August 2nd) Piraterna – Ikaros Smederna 1 Lejonen – Elit Vetlanda 2 Masarna – Rospiggarna 1 Dackarna – Indianerna 1 Round 13 (August 9th) Rospiggarna – Indianerna 1 Elit Vetlanda – Masarna 1 Ikaros Smederna – Lejonen 1 Piraterna – Dackarna 1 Round 14 (August 16th) Lejonen – Piraterna 2 Masarna – Ikaros Smederna 1 Indianerna – Elit Vetlanda 1 Dackarna – Rospiggarna 1 Predictions 1 = home victory, 2 = away victory. That would make: Piraterna 25+aaggregated bonus points. Rospiggarna 24 Masarna 19 Dackarna 19 Indianerna 17 Piraterna against Rospiggarna in the final. I think Rospiggarna should be cconsidered favourites due to stronger reserves.

"Jaroslaw Hampel back on track!". He did a practice session yesterday. https://translate.google.com/translate?sl=auto&tl=en&js=y&prev=_t&hl=sv&ie=UTF-8&u=http%3A%2F%2Fsportowefakty.wp.pl%2Fzuzel%2F616406%2Fjaroslaw-hampel-znow-na-torze&edit-text= -
Swedish Under-22 (?) Championship
Ghostwalker replied to LeapingLena's topic in International World of Speedway
It was an open meeting at Västervik called Toyota open. http://www.speedwaynyheter.se/2016/06/29/liveuppdatering-toyota-open/ -
I think that BSPA don't allow British riders to enter. IMO the SEC would be a good series for Lambert to get some international experience.

2016-what To Do With Jarrick Hample
Ghostwalker replied to OveFundinFan's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
A polish article from today. http://m.przegladsportowy.pl/zuzel/grand-prix,hampel-nie-straci-miejsca-w-grand-prix,artykul,700916,1,985.html Hampel obviously have the right to his place but FIM wants to know when Hampel plans to return since it is not ok towards Lindgren for Jarek to wait until the last minute to decide if he can ride or not in the gp. -
That is how it works. KK can only blame himself if agreeing to be a back-up rider instead of signing with another club at which me might have gotten more riding opportunities. As I said it is down to the riders themselves to decide where they want to ride. If riders X thinks team B's offer (payrate/riding opportunities ) is better then team A's then don't complain if you sign with team A.
-
Apparently riders are willing to sign for Swedish and Polish clubs without being guaranteed neither payment or riding opportunities. If you look at Masarna, only two riders have ridden in all of Masarna's meetings: https://ta.svemo.se/Public/Pages/TeamSections.aspx?Branch=Speedway&Season=2016&Serie=Elitserien&PageType=Sections&pagesize=10&TeamId=519 The same goes for Rospiggarna (and every other team): https://ta.svemo.se/Public/Pages/TeamSections.aspx?Branch=Speedway&Season=2016&Serie=Elitserien&PageType=Sections&pagesize=10&TeamId=523 Of course riders are not happy to be sidlined for a meeting but they still accepts it since it is better then to not do any meetings at all.
-
Riders sign a contract in which they commit to be at team X's exclusive disposal (for that league) during the length of the contract (usually 1-2 seasons). Need to make it more complicated then it already is. Possible some riders (like Laguta's, Nicki, Holder, Tai and etc) are expecting a signing bonus but no rider will get paid when they are not riding, the opposite would be financial suicide by any team.
-
No. I don't know of any team that pays their riders when they are not riding. Some riders though, like Greg H, might have a fixed sum salary per meeting rather than a salary based on amount of points scored. You don't need 10 riders per squad. Sweden have only allows 7 riders (riders who have an average of 0.500 / 2.00 does not count). We also allow three season permanent guest riders but those have to be Swedish only. They are also able to ride for one team in Elitserien and one team in Allsvenskan. There are also restrictions regarding the averages of the guest riders.

Lambert do have a team spot with Masarna. As for the others, King have been given many opportunities but haven't really made anything of it. Harris rode for Västervik for 9 years and after that, one season for Rospiggarna. I think it also is a matter of money, that the British riders are more expensive then the Polish riders. Many British riders have tried their luck during the years but very few made anything of it. Imo only Woffinden, Loram and RIchardson (maybe also Harris+Nicholls) have had any kind of lasting success. So I think team managers in general are very sceptical about British riders.

2016 Swc Semi's And Final 29/30/july 2016
Ghostwalker replied to hyderd's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
For Sweden I think the four riders in the lineup in Västervik will be, Jonsson, Lindbäck, Lindgren and Ljung with Joel Andersson as the U21 reserve. Ljung have been riding for Västervik for many many years and he should know the track very well. -
Joonas Kylmäkorpi is injured and will be replaced by Covatti in Güstrow.

It really doesn't. There have been many meetings that have been decided due to one team being able to use tac-subs while the other wasn't. Tac subs benefits top heavy teams since they can replace the non-performing riders. IMO it doesn't fill any purpose. 6 points is a too small difference and if the difference would be bigger like 12 points it's not likely that using a tac subs would do much to close the gap since it usually means that the entire team is not performing which means that a team likely doesn't have any riders to use as a tac-sub anyway. If tac-subs where to be removed, it would be more "fair" to build different types of teams. You could built a top heavy team which would rely on the top riders to score the majority of the points or you could build a more balanced team which would rely on all riders to score 6-7 points each. Tac-subs benefits the top heavy team since they always can replace the second string riders with tac-subs. I don't think it's a fair rule since it allows one team to give their best riders extra heats while the winning team have to use it's worse riders.

2016 Swc Semi's And Final 29/30/july 2016

Perhaps but GP is different thing. King evidently have performed in a SWC event before even if it only was a semi final many years and not a race off/final. -
