They signed a 5 year contract, starting from 2013, so I assume that they will stage another two GPs there. IMO the main issue is that the arena is too big. Tele 2 Arena would IMO be a better choice, closer to the central city, easier transport (subway) and it's not as big as FA. FA capacity is around 50'000 while Tele 2 Arena is only around 30'000. So I think it would be easier to get a good atmosphere at T2A.

Imo the whole meaning of being a pro is that it's a work and not a hobby. A professional sportsman/woman is someone who have their sport as their work and that they earn enough to live from it.

After 5 heats Masarna have a 21-9 lead in the meeting which makes 20 overall so I'd say that Masarna have the promotion in the bag now. Another 5-1 in heat 6 so it's 26-10 in the meeting and 24p overall. Masarna needs only 6 more points with 6 heats to go. After 10 heats the standings are 41-19, only one more point needed for Masarna. Attendance 4024 people !!!!!!!!!!! Congratulations Masarna to the promotion to Elitserien!!!!!

Actually not, I think it is only 2 -3 teams that owns their track, however regardless all money earned goes to the club but (some of ) those who doesn't own their track will have to pay rent (or lease agreement in one case). My team Smederna pays an annual rent of about 190'000SEK which is about £15'000. Although it's likely for all teams that races under the Smederna banner which is the main team, the Elit-B team and the youth (80cc) team. The latter have it's own smaller 80cc track located behind the back straight stands. I think it's pretty much the same here, except that some teams, like Smederna, that are very good at having a presence on social media (twitter, instagram & Facebook) but proper advertising? Not so much except maybe a small advert in the local newspaper on race days. I think it's pretty much the same for the other teams but I don't know.
