Ghostwalker

Correct name is Martin Haarahiltunen (my previous link had it spelled wrong). He is a 24/25-year old from Örnsköldsvik (northern Swedish east coast), It seems that he is a newbie when it comes to ice racing. http://www.allehanda.se/sport/motor/sm-final-vantar-for-haarahiltunen http://www.racemagazine.se/isracing/sm-finalen-mer-oviss-an-nagonsin/ Name is Finnish so probably Finnish parents or grand/grand grand parents. Many Finnish refugees (particular children) came to Sweden during WW2. Then during the 70's a new wave of Finnish immigrants came to Sweden to work in the industry which needed manpower.

That is correct. Next year Piotr Pawlicki will be 22 and Bartosz Zmarzlik will be doing his last season as U21.

R&R quite possible but you also have to have in mind that the riders ride much less meetings in Sweden/Poland compared to UK. In Elitserien (excluding "play offs") there is a potential of 16 meetings / season so compared on a season total the difference is probably smaller then what it might look like if you look at the points money.only.

This article gives you an idea of the approximate salary for top riders. https://translate.google.com/translate?sl=auto&tl=en&js=y&prev=_t&hl=sv&ie=UTF-8&u=http%3A%2F%2Fsportowefakty.wp.pl%2Fzuzel%2F549274%2Fjaroslaw-hampel-walczy-o-kase-z-falubazu-moze-stracic-prawie-pol-miliona-zlotych&edit-text= The article "assumes" that Hampel for 2015 were paid some 850'000 zloty (~£140'000GBP) as a fixed sum and on top of that earns 5000 zloty (£820GBP) per point. Imo I think that at least the points money in reality are slightly higher then assumed by Sportowefakty. I also think we can assume that riders like Emil, Nicki, Greg and Tai, likely earns more then Hampel. So I don't know but maybe 7-8-thousand for those 4 riders?

According to this article, the city of Rzeszów's financial support to the speedway team was not enough for Stali Rzeszów to pay all their bets and therefor bankruptcy is becoming more likely. https://translate.google.com/translate?sl=auto&tl=en&js=y&prev=_t&hl=sv&ie=UTF-8&u=http%3A%2F%2Fsportowefakty.wp.pl%2Fzuzel%2F563648%2Fdramatyczna-sytuacja-stali-rzeszow-miasto-nie-pokryje-calosci-dlugu&edit-text=
