  1. Just like last year there will an open meeting called Hammarby open at Gubbängen the day before the GP. See this post for info on how to get there: http://www.speedway-forum.co.uk/forums/index.php?showtopic=67537&page=36&&do=findComment&comment=2336263 Transport info for the GP arena: http://friendsarena.se/gastservice/Hitta-hit/Finding-your-way-to-Friends-Arena/ SOme chamges for those who arrive by commuter train this year: There is a new overpass/exit called Norra uppgången/Målbron.that have been built (nr 3 on the map): https://www.solna.se/Global/Nyhetsrelaterade/arenastaden%20siffror%20stor.JPG https://www.solna.se/sv/om-solna/nyheter-om-solna/ny-uppgang-mot-friends-arena-oppnas/ This means you don't have to walk as far to get around the rails since you now can walk straight over them.
  2. That is not how Wada's doping rules work. First time offenders normally get 2 a years suspension and repeated offence will give a harder punishment.
  3. Sindey, I replied to you in the Stockholm GP thread. ---- Live results from the meeting at this link: http://ta.svemo.se/Public/Pages/Competition/DrivingSchedule/CompetitionLiveResult.aspx?Branch=Speedway&Columns=CompetitionInfo,Branch,Name,Arena,Organizer,FromDateShort&Datefilter=Today&pagesize=10&CompetitionId=3885 Line ups: Gnistorna 1. Mikael Max 2. Mattias Nilsson 3. Ricky Kling 4. Mathias Thörnblom 5. Peter Ljung 6. Kenny Wennerstam 7. Sebastian Carlson Örnarna 1. Magnus Karlsson 2. Billy Forsberg 3. Peter Karlsson 4. Robin Aspegren 5. Jacob Thorssell 6. Pawel Miesiac 7. Freddy Godlund
  4. Even if you rented a car, it would be a minimum of an hour and half driving time plus time needed to find a parking at Friends arena (very difficult) then the time need to get from where you parked the car to the arena. By public transport there is an organized bus trip which leaves at 4p from the bus station. Train+commuter train won't bring until 8påm at the earliest.
  5. Robbie, he should be suspended because he violated Wada's and FIM's anti-doping rule. In all forms of motorsport (cars, bikes, boats , planes & etc) alcohol is considered doping (safety reasons) so being under the influence of alcohol just before/at a competition means that Darcy per Wada's and FIM's definitions is guilty of doping. This means that he should be punished as everybody else that are guilty of doping. This is also why a player who is being under the influence of alcohol at a football game isn't the same thing as Darcy getting caught at Daugavpils.
  6. Robbie, you do agree on that throwing darts at a dart board while being under the influence of alcohol is slightly less dangerous the riding a motorcycle at 70-80mph on a gravel track with three others which is why alcohol is banned in motorcycle sport by Wads whereas it isn't in dart.
  7. Alan yes broadcast start at 5.30 Uk time, meeting start at 19.00 local time (6pm UK time).
  8. It was in January this year. Darcy was caught driving an uninsured motorcycle while being under the influence of alcohol and narcotics.
  9. Free stream tonight at http://www.malmotv.se/live-sections/live/index.1.html from the Allsvenskan meeting between Gnistorna and Örnarna.
  10. if there were something wrong with the testing I don't think the medical committee would have sent the case to the disciplinary court. I hope that Darcy will get a minimum of 12 month suspension but I wouldn't be surprised if he got away with it.... again.
  11. Greg says that he refuses to give up the hope of riding in Vojens. He will have his finger checked on Wednesday next week and to see how the healing have progressed. Doctors will tell him then if he can or can't ride in Vojens, http://www.mvt.se/sport/speedway/?articleid=10120018
  12. Fjelsted win over Holsted with 46-40 but Holsted win the bonus point.
  13. It's the Ind. Swedish final on Friday, don't know if there will be any streams but meetings is televised.
  14. There have been a short delay since they had to wait for the ambulance top arrive but now we're good to go.
  15. Also Grogorij Laguta signed for another year with Smederna. Kenni Larsen have expressed his wish to stay and so have Zengota. Peter "PK" Karlsson says that if he decides to do another season he will stay with Smederna. Przedpelski and Magnus "Zorro" Zetterström already have contracts for next season. I think Oliver Berntzon won't decide until he know if Lejonen will be in Allsvenskan or Elitserien next season. No info available for Eklöf or Michelsen.
