  1. I made a spreadsheet with the riders from Swe, GB and Australia's teams tonight to see there performances in the different leagues. Anyway i made a picture of it: http://img248.images...ev2averages.png For some riders averages for the highest leagues was not available some for them i had to either find averages from earlier years or a lower league. * = a converted average from the Polish 1-liga ** = The GB average is from 2008 or 2009 *** = The Swe average is from 2008 Darcy ward's Swedish averge is his average from this years B.EL. The averages is calculated by taking points divided by meetings. The team average is the riders scores divided by amount of riders.
  2. forecasts look good http://www.metoffice.gov.uk/weather/uk/ee/kings_lynn_forecast_weather.html
  3. i think the polish team would have been very successful at KL as well. especially since it a relatively long track. put some grip on that and well lots of Polish heat victories...
  4. i just checked and Målilla had a semi in 2006.
  5. ladylcuk, Eskilstuna had a semi-final in 2005. I don't remember if we have had any swc in Sweden since. I think the reason for that is that Swedish clubs don't want gamble their future by investing allot of money into a SWC round.
  6. a week ago FIM granted all countries permission to use the old silencers in SWC. SGP have been granted an exception since before the start of the season.

Thursday 29 juli, 10:00, Smålandsvillan Par Open (Ungdom) - Race 1 80cc Thursday 29 juli, 13:00, Smålandsvillan Par Open (Ungdom) - Race 2 80cc Thursday 29 juli, 16:00, Smålandsvillan Par Open (Ungdom) - Race 3 80cc Sunday 15 augusti, 11:00, Ungdomsserien (E.Vetl - Lej/Gnist - Dack) 80cc league meeting Söndag 15 augusti, 14:00, Ungdomsserien (E.Vetl/Bys - Indian - Pirat) 80cc league meeting -------------------
  9. i don't know, Alan. I didn't see any info on Smederna's website so i guess that the original inteion was to stream it but t hat they for some reason decided not to. Then perhaps their schedule is already "programmed" into their channel at their distributor which would explain why the meeting appeared on the list with the message "event is starting soon". hopefully Wednesday's away meeting against Gnistorna will be streamed since Gnistorna is a very good team as well and i think that it will be a close meeting with Gnistorna as slight favourites.
  10. a link to all Smedernas meetings this season: http://www.qrodo.com/channel/ikaros-smederna-speedway/a2d544b4-bf4c-475f-b467-a0defcc97dce
  11. live scores Team Värmland - Ikaros Smederna http://www.speedway.nu/2010/reportNY.asp?Div1.JF
  12. you got a link for that?, i've checked both speedwaygp.com and fim.ch but no news... *edit found info at speedwaygp.com http://speedwaygp.com/en/newsdetail/a1666
  13. Svemo still haven't decided what the league system will look like next year. A couple of days ago there was some articles saying that Svemo wanted to remove Allsvenskan and merge it with Div1. Then they would split the Div1 into a northern and southern half. Imo that is a really rubbish suggestion and the difference (both team wise and money wise) between Elitserien and the other teams would be even bigger and it would be even harder for them to advance to ELitserien for them. I'd rather see that they made Allsvenskan more attractive. If possible financially i would promote the 3-4 team ins Div1 to Allsvenskan and add Västervik to that. If Solkatterna is demoted to Div 1 (which is very likely) that would mean that Allsvenskan would have 8-9 teams which hopefully would make it more attractive to spectators and sponsors. Keep the current system with partner team and scrap the suggestion about teams have to sign 3 guest riders to cover up for the removed farming possibilities. I would also make sure that all averages are locked to each division so that a rider cant use allsvenskan to keep his average down. ------ the smaller of Eskilstuna's newspapers have made an interview with forum member "Zetters"; http://folket.se/sportfolket/speedway/1.761668
  14. Not sure that the svt24 broadcast is 100%live, the GP are usually shown with a 30-60 min delay initially, to become live towards the end of the meetings. However 100% live feed is also available at http://svtplay.se click "livesändningar". This is only available from a computer with a Swedish ip adress.
  15. to be honest Steve i dont think BSPA have the final say in the question. I'd say that its BSI that makes the final decision about where to stage the events. Perhaps the KL track owner offered a better deal then the other interested tracks?
  16. congratulations to Team GB, you chances of a direct qualification to the final just increased allot. Andreas Jonsson have to withdraw from SWC because of problems with an arm. Jonas Davidsson will be asked to take AJs place. source: http://norrteljetidn...onsson-i-lag-vm
  17. if you are lucky you might find results in the DMU news archive: http://www.dmusport.dk/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=2453&Itemid=111
  18. a little thing worth mentioning is that a total of 3 pair if brother rode in this meeting. For Ikaros Smederna: Linus & Rasmus Eklöf, Robert and Daniel Henderson and finally Lars Daniel Gunnestad who's brother Tomas rode for Team Värmland,
  19. live scores from Allsvenskan: Örnarna-Griparna http://www.speedway.nu/2010/reportNY.asp?Alls2.EA Hammarby-Solkatterna http://www.speedway.nu/2010/ReportNY.asp?alls2.BD
  20. i would guess that either of the first two meetings will be televised.
  21. two Allsvenskan meetings tonight. Örnarna-Griparna Örnarna 1. Ronnie Jamrozy PL 7,84 2. Christian Agö SE 4,73 3. Mikael Max SE 8,62 4. Robert Pettersson (F) SE 3,80 5. Niklas Klingberg SE 7,45 6. Oliver Berntzon SE 3,12 7. Per-Ola Klasson SE 2,00 Griparna 1. Miroslaw Jablonski PL 7,92 2. Kenneth Hansen DK 7,78 3. Freddie Eriksson SE 6,66 4. André Hertzberg (F) SE 3,83 5. Kim Nilsson SE 6,19 6. Juha Hautamäki FI 6,20 7. Sebastian Carlson SE 2,57 this a meeting between the nr2 (Örnarna) and nr 3 (Griparna) placed teams in the standings. However Örnarna is a much better team then Griparna and should win comfortably at home. Hammarby-Solkatterna Hammarby 1.Magnus Zetterström (F) SE 8,32 2. Robert Hendersson SE 4,39 3. Pawel Miesiac PL 6,22 4. Tero Aarnio FI 3,87 5. Linus Eklöf SE 5,60 6. Daniel Hendersson (F) SE 3,48 7. Alexander Edberg SE 4,06 Solkatterna 1. Victor Palovaara SE 2,00 2. Adrian Bergqvist SE 2,00 3. Jeremia Thelaus SE 4,10 4. David Rohlén SE 5,19 5. Robin Törnqvist SE 6,50 6. Thimm P Norberg (F) SE 2,08 7. Thimm P Norberg (F) SE 2,08 Basically Solkatterna is the same team as Team Värmland's team lost away against Ikaros Smederna y'day evening with 29-67. So Hammarby will win with a very large margin probably well over 30p. Compared to that meeting Palovaara and Rohén is in, Apsgren and Gunnestad is out. Also i do not know why Thimm P Norberg i listed twice so expect that either n6 or 7 will be another rider.
  22. The averages of those who ride in Sweden check: http://www.speedway.nu/visa.asp?file=%272010/snittNYhtm.asp%27
  23. great work Anders. quite fascinating though that they had to abandon the meeting at Eskilstuna's "neighbour track" Sannahed/Kumla, some 100km west, becasue of rain while the meeting in Eskilstuna was superdry.
