He haven't had many chances though and half of the chances he have been given have been difficult away meetings against Elit Vetlanda & Lejonen. The other two chances were away against Indianerna and Rospiggarna.

on the contrary Mateusz , he would have ridden in a three rider run off for 1st-3rd place if he had managed 3rd in his EF heat. In the run off for third well Kolodziej rode very well but Freddie was so determined to hold on to that 1st place.

btw what will happened now if Lindgren would make top 8 in the series? Will Koldziej get Lindgrens place from Race off or is it the 9th place in the series who will be promoted to 8th?

two of three riders are trough, race off between Janusz, Freddie and Zorro then, i obviously hope for Lindgren but i think Koldziej takes it. anyway Anto9 seemed like like he eased off a bit to let Zorro take the win.

a new date has been set for the postponed meeting between Piraterna and Rospiggarna. The meeting will take place next wednesday (Aug 25th) at 19.00. Piraterana dn Rospiggarna first wanted to have the meeting a week later so that they could make it televised "play off teaser" with live Play off picks on tv. However Svemo refused and decided that the meeting is to take place on the 25th.

Hammarby's team manager Fredrik Edberg have received a 10 month suspension for being verbal abusive against (threatening) a referee. The claimed incident happened in June during a meeting in div 1 between Ikaros Smederna and Nassjö at Smederna's track. Edberg denies that he threatened the referee but agrees that he was upset with him because he had fined two of Smedernas's riders because they were riding their bikes in he pit without the "dead man's switch" around the wrist. Henrik Karlsson and Alexander Edberg (son of Fredrik) both received a £175GBP fine each and Fredrik though that the fine was unnecessary high for a Div 1 rider. i agree with you, i think its the same kind of situation as it was with Adams. Also SVT play will show the GP challenge live on Saturday, however its only available in Sweden though.

I wonder if this will be the last we will see of Ullevi for a while... They're building a new multipupose stadium in Stockholm and it says on their website that speedway are one of the things they want to host in their new arena, although football will be the primary purpose.
