i have to say that i am quite surprised that both Västervik and Valsarna have such poor attendances. One would think that a team like Valsarna, who have managed to return to Elitserien after many years' absence, would have some interest among its fans and those who live in the town of Hagfors and it surroundings. But on the other hand we've seen it before with Smederna, Masarna and many other teams. The fans seems to be too picky when it comes to their own team. Fans don't seem to understand if they stay at home their team won't get any money to sign good riders and then the team will loose allot and then more fans will stay at home. Some of Smenderna's officials claimed that the track is too far from the city centre. However in 2003 Smederna had an average of 4300 people/meeting then we lost the final against Kaparna and that was the beginning of the end. Also look at Dackarna, a team in a 1800 people municipality, who have had almost 4000 people/meeting so far this season. So i don't think the distance is the main problem but rather that people are too picky about what riders they want to have in the team. Regarding the lack of team points limit i would like one that was set about 10-11-12p higher then the 1-7 limit this would prevent teams from signing high averga riders just as a backup. Particularly Lejonen has used this method. A team that has won two titles with money they dont have.

thank you Anders for doing "My" work i had planned to be more active with lineups, results & etc but i've been very busy lately. Regarding Ikaros Smederna and the streams of their meetings. Their next meeting is on Sunday away against Eldarna. However Eldarna's track Gladö Kvarn is of very low standard and i'm not sure if they have internet. In any case the meeting after that on July 7th @ home against Gasarna will most probably be streamed.

Andreas Jonsson, Fredrik Lindgren and Rune Holta have decided not to rider in the SWC if the new silencers will remain mandatory. There are ultrarapid cameras that can capture high speed movements and when played at "normal" speed it will show the film in slow motion.

i agree, Torun (and Leszno) this years shows that permanent tracks with a good track staff will by far outshine the temporary football stadium tracks like Ullevi and Cardiff.

well Cardiff is a much different type of track. It was kinda expected that Torun would be good but that doesn't mean that a temporary track like Cardiff will be at the same level regarding quality of the racing entertainment.

Mark, Nicholls have been awarded WC's 6 times. He was awarded WC for the following seasons: 2002, 2003, 2005, 2006, 2007 & 2009 in 2004 and 2007 he managed top 8. In 2007 by knocking Harris over, in the re-run for 8th place

i think i read that he would be absent for at least two months. IMO neither Freddie Lindgren or Chris Harris should be awarded a WC if they misses out on top 8 and the same goes for Harris Both have had many chances to qualify for top 8 but have failed each time so if they're not top 8 or in via qualies they shouldn't be in for 2011. They cant rely of a WC year after year like Nicholls did.

I think it good to see that there are other riders then "The old usual" that are at the top of the leaderboard and more important the last couple of years the title was almost decided already by this time of the season. I think now that Jarek got his first victory, i think he can ride a bit more "relaxed" in the later stages of the GPs since the mental pressure on him to win his first gp is gone. Anyway i hope that someone of the current top 3 will take the title.

There has been another rule change in Sweden. Svemo have decided to allow teams to replace injured riders whenever they want and an unlimited amount of times. at the moment i would think that these 5 riders that Jenn has writen are the ones that will make the team and they are also those that i would pick at the moment. However lets not forget someone like THJ who havent had the chance to prove himself that much yet in the leagues due to his 1 month ban. PK have said a few years ago that it is time for the younger ones to ride in SWC and that he have done his part.
