  1. Just like the pumping you predicted Panthers would give Glasgow at Ashfield earlier this season? GIRRY! Despite the general feeling of the Bandits on here tonight I do have a lot of sympathy with this point of view. Many PL riders have ridden round Armadale enough to know how to ride it. I've seen EL riders in the Scottish Open performing well without the same experience of the track. Yes, Armadale is a tough track, no doubt, but most riders should know how to ride it. Gating well gives a chance of winning. But if you're not doing that as an away rider your team stands no chance. Wonder if some riders go there with the wrong attitude before a wheel is turned?
  2. Wrong Topic, this should be on "Now then, now then" in General Discussions.
  3. Naw, just you lot are so far up your own Derrières you think everyone else is obsessed about you.
  4. Sunday looking like a real cracker now after Berwick's win tonight, by all accounts some of them now hitting real form. Reserve meetings could be all important with Kus coming good.
  5. I'd go with the original idea from Ommer Man - half price admission for season ticket holders. No matter the away team at the meeting. Might even encourage a few more to buy season tickets at their own track. Worth a try me thinks, what have promoters got to lose? Even just for a month or twos trial.
  6. Speedway, business model and investor in the same sentence! I think not. Best not to copy and paste on the BSF from the FT website.
  7. Le Wonderkid returns! Ya dancer! Dimitri's Faceache page confirms the OK from the doc. Happy days are here again ....
  8. Cheers mate, thanks for the compliment. I'm thinking ti could be a cracking meeting too!
  9. LOL! Read either on here or Glasgow Faceache page that Dimitri is back next Sunday subject to medical approval.
  10. Having joined BSF in 2007, I must have the 7 year itch. Either that, or I've decided its time I start contributing rather than trolling. So here goes my first attempt at starting a meeting thread, apologies in advance to Paulco who does such a good job of these weekly. An important meeting for both sides and I'm sure the sheep molesters will have this as a potential win. Another 3 point home win will see us further cement our current position at the top of the PL wooden spoon league, our own 4TT with Plymouth, Sheffield and Rye House. I have absolutely no idea how the teams will line up, so at this stage I'll assume it's the usual suspects for ourselves and the farmers. Quite a few questions to be answered at this meeting .... For the Chosen Few: Which of Two Kevin Wolberts will turn up? Can Rusty secure the first Tiger's maximum of the season? Will Dimitri make his much desired comeback? If he does, will Le Wonderkid make a steady return, or will he take up where he left off - hanging off the bike, using every inch of track ... each lap? Nee Naw Thomsen, will he race Bandit or Tiger riders? Can he finish an Ashfield meeting without his weekly chin wag with medical staff? Will Kasper get into a first turn in first place? Maybe second or even third? Hopefully Christian makes his return and get himself some much needed match fitness. And finally, will our captain top this week's 11 points? For the Banditos: Steen Jensen, will he live up to his pre-season predicted 9 point average? Matty Wethers will no doubt turn in his usual professional Ashfield performance - just not too good please! Kevin Doolan - Can he hit double figures? Claus Vissing - We love you as a guest Claus, but not opposing us. Mr Entertainment at Ashfield. Liam Carr and Matej Kus - our reserves should have the beating of them. .... and finally... Him. Will Judas be in the team or will some BSF Banditos get their way and see him hung drawn and quartered after today's no show? The other key issues to be answered: Will we need a new safety fence fund with messrs Thomsen, Berge and Judas in the same meeting? Will the Glasgow promotion keep Judas away from Le Wonderkid before he can lead him astray? With Dimitri and Judas racing against each other, will it be ...... Jeux Sans Frontières And finally ...... On this thread, how long before the usual BSF Banditos start falling out with each other? Can the usual suspect post more than one sentence (starting with a capital letter) that isn't a ridiculous scoreline prediction? How long before he falls out with himself? Will we have a rain-off, or a sun-off?
  11. Agreed. Which team's supporters wouldn't have taken the opportunity to produce them? Only one lacking imagination and entrepreneurial-ship.
  12. An excellent scoreline today (well overdue) with all the boys contributing. Had a feeling we would hot 50 today. Looking forward to next week's meeting with hopefully Christian and Dimitri both making a comeback. If we can get everyone firing at the same time (including Burger King performing like a No1 away from home), and keep 7 fit riders we will go through the rest of the season unbeaten at home, and might just sneak an away win or two. Should be a cracking contest with Newcastle in the KO Cup and one we should be confident of performing well in. Hope Nee Naw Thomsen is OK. Any truth in the rumour he likes women in nurses uniforms?
  13. LOL! A big achievement and a run of wins that'll be hard to match or exceed.
  14. oh look, another BSF poster with only 1 tone of post ..... negativity. Why bring your beef to a Glasgow thread? You sum it up perfectly Lioness. Sadly, I suspect this will go right over the poster's head and it will not make one bit of a difference. No doubt we'll get the usual dogmatic, argumentative "I'm right everyone else is wrong" style of reply. Along with personal attacks.
  15. The unfortunate thing is due to Wolbert's form (or lack of), the focus is on him, when really it should be on the surprisly good and entertaining riding of Rusty, and Anders/Kasper's progression.
  16. You've got to hand it to Christian, he comes back giving 100% despite all his bad injuries.
  17. Being p!sh can be addressed by the transfer market. Being smug is in the genes and it's in your system for life.
  18. Well done boys, great result. Can't wait for Dimitri to return, our septet (if they stay injury free) might just get an away win then.
