  1. Oh shoot. I'm off now to commit ritual harry carry. Nice knowing everyone on BSF. Have a nice Christmas when it comes.
  2. 11 heats gone and the boys are keeping it tight at 35-31. C'mon the Tigers, let's keep it going. Theo Pjiper - Has acted like a true captain last few weeks when we needed him. Good man! Wolbert - Extract your friggin' digit.
  3. In my book you just don't do that. Face up to your own fans, in good times and bad.
  4. Sorry folks, you've got me for this meeting thread as Paulco is off to the Priory for a dry out session. Only kidding... ... even they can't dry him out! Being billed as potentially the final Scottish Derby meeting this season. More frighteningly it's potentially the last Scottish Derby to take place in the UK! Yours truly is touching more cloth than Mickey Dyer in a Monarch's riders wives hen night. Anyway, back to the riding of the two-wheeled variety. How opposites attract. The Minions continue to chase the Rebels at the top of the league ... and the Glasgow Vehicles Alleged Tigers continue to chase their tail at the bottom. Or derrière, if Le Wonder Kid is reading this. With Sunday's meeting being the second of three in four days, will the Tigers be up for derriere intruding the Smugs? All depends on who turns up. Kevin or ... well Kevin? Track staff get the start gate right .... please. Victor Pavarotten - will it be a case of Two Kevs ol' burger trick? Rusty - Will he have another headache? - FFS he has more than Mrs M on Saturday nights! (Maybe Dickey Myer's got it right?) Let's not forget though, worth the admission money alone, the Ashfield circuit will be graced by Polish speedway's new saviour .... step up to the plate none other than ... Craig Chef. Ably assisted by his 6 dish washers. So will Chef''s boys make the Bake-offs? Who will eat the burgers and who will eat the buns? Still undecided about going? Well there will be a pudding. Jeff Scott will be in attendance punting his latest 647 page cure for insomnia ... "Strictly Shale". Here's the teams straight from the Tigers Website (well what did you expect, I'm not Stewart Dickson!) The Glasgow "NO" voters: Victor Palovaara Theo Pijper (capt.) Kevin Wolbert Tero Aarnio Rusty Harrison Kasper "Lykke Buttton" Mason Campton (G) The Edinburgh 'NO" hopers: Craig Chef Justin Sedgmen Max Fricke Stevie Worrall Sam Masters Aaron Fox Derek Sneddon (capt.) .... and remember it's a 5pm start, so an extra two hours Buckfast for us, and two hours extra baking for them. Finally, and most importantly, raid your piggy bank (or if you're a Weggie ... the neighbour's kids) as it's Speedway Rider's Benevolent Fund time ... so let's dig deep for the boys of all teams!
  5. Well what do you say? Well done to the lads who brought the points in, the same ones doing it most of this season. Another case of "if only" we'd had all riders firing at the same time and yet again an excellent choice of guest. We seem to be better at choosing guests than assets!
  6. Going out on Friday with my mates for a major re-hydrate session.
  7. Who would want the job? Chances are someone EL with a vested interest.
  8. Got it Davy! Been on ebay and not many ZX's for sales, but the ones that are, are cheap. Must be because everyone has one already. Cheers mate.
  9. Cheers mate. Unfortunately my laptop refuses to save anything Minion related.
  10. It's easier to hack into the Pentagon than find updates on Edinburgh home meetings on the Chatzone! Started looking at 7:45 and eventually found them in time to get the Heat 9 result!
  11. Just goes to show the difference between being at a meeting and seeing it for yourself. Versus reading the opinions of others.
  12. Head in the sand and telling customers what to think is not ideal for running a business. Customers vote with feet They don't stand in line waiting to be told what to do. Fans becoming directors in any sport isn't always a good thing. Business savvy is needed. Not all have it. Don't know him, so don't know if he does or not.
  13. I'm baffled. We have people on the forum says we need to increase the number of regular attenders at speedway and to do so we need to improve the product. Others today have said we shouldn't complain and these NL guests need a chance. What contribution did they make to the 'product' today? Can't have it both ways.
  14. Hey Darcy .... GP tonight. Your round mate. Cheers.
  15. Have a real quandary now. World Paint Drying Championships are taking place on Sunday in John O'Groats. Only 6 hours drive. What to do? Speedway or Paint Drying? Paint Drying or Speedway? Oh! What to do? Oh What to do?
  16. Why am I thinking about chocolate and eating oneself?
  17. Aye. And Aaron Fox goes in more holes than Mickey Dyer.
