Nobody even cares. Where is the promotion? Going out with absolutely no fight at all. Wolves are doing everything they can and we have absolutely FA going for us. How people are still parting with their hard earned cash for this shower of s*** is beyond me. Give the fans something at the very LEAST. Pathetic. #WhereIsTomalin?

If you lot think this is bad, try joining the 'Panthers speedway chat' on Facebook.. I'm getting shot down left right and centre for being disappointed with the season. They all seem to think everything is all rosey and fine

Leicester lions 2023 (PREMIERSHIP)
TheSmiler replied to PhilTheAce's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Official British Speedway have just confirmed on socials that the Premiership Pairs will take place as a one-off event at Leicester on Thursday 29th June at 7:30pm. The press release for tomorrow's meeting states the fans will be the first to find out so either they've had that spoiled or it's something else. -
Another day goes on with no news of signing anybody... almost at the point of giving up now. It's going to be too late.
-
I've already made the collective decision that until a competitive team is built, I will be travelling the extra miles to Foxhall to watch Doyle and Emil.
-
Shut the whole thing down now. Absolute shambles. Richie Worrall needs to be held accountable for his actions also.

The future of British Speedway after the 2023 season
TheSmiler replied to TTT's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
It’s all a very sad and sorry state of affairs at this point. -
British Speedway has been dying a slow and painful death for years but maybe this year is the final nail in the coffin. in the past decade we have lost massive clubs such as Coventry, Swindon, Arena Essex and now Peterborough and Wolves this year. I predict one big league next year and then fading out with a whimper.
-
The engine problems probably lost Panthers the meeting tonight, but without a No.1 (only 4 from RR rides), that's not a bad result so fair play to the lads.
-
Well KK only went and bagged a 15 point max lmao. what a frustrating rider.

Ipswich v Belle Vue 13th April
TheSmiler replied to Arch Stanton's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
I suspect this won't be the first time that Ipswich are caught with their heads down due to their weak bottom end. As soon as one of the top 2 get beat it's a massive result. -
Very strange how many EFs, bizarre.
-
Typical KK, shows up only when he wants to, and only on his terms.

From MT on Facebook: “Just as an update from my perspective and my perspective alone the NP debacle has been an issue, something none of us expected however we will react given time to measure the next step. In regard to the overall position with the Speedway I’m keen to understand the options. Let’s just support our team who we all love dearly and let the rest go through the process. As I have stated it ain’t over until the fat lady sings”
-
This is a good point. There is a social media channel on Facebook for Panthers chat and he was previously very vocal until the start of the season. He has gone very quiet since.
-
Where is this?
-
At least the Panthers fans will get to say goodbye to the ground and know that it will be their last. At Coventry we just got binned ahead of the 2017 season.
-
Can't help but feel similar feelings to when we lost Coventry Bees. We all have had our issues with the Panthers the last two seasons but what a negative post to read, and so very sad that it looks as if there is nothing that can be done. Can't imagine a world without Peterborough Speedway. UK Speedway is finished.
-
That is a very dark statement and not a nice one to read at all. Sadly looking like another club will be lost to the dying sport in this country.
-
All enthusiasm that I had for visiting Peterborough multiple times this year has completely drained away due to such an inept promotion. I will most likely make the few more miles up to Ipswich more often to see some class.
-
An utter shambles and once again no regard for the fans. They've known for weeks he isn't coming back.
