  1. The more I see it, the more I think Oxford will be bottom of the league in 2025. My thoughts are changing daily at the moment, currently I’d put it. Top 4 in any order (with Ipswich top): Ipswich, Kings Lynn, Belle Vue, Sheffield 5. Birmingham 6. Leicester 7. Oxford
  2. With teams starting to take shape; it's time to discuss your predictions for the 2025 season. Will Ipswich finally lift the trophy? Or will Belle Vue retain their title? Thoughts below...
  3. The more I look at it, the more I like this team. Sure, they will struggle in Heats 13 & 15 but they will always have strong riders and 2 and 6 and should comfortably win the majority of their home meetings. I am expecting Jan Kvech to push on towards an 8.00 ave this season. I can see this team finishing in the play offs behind Ipswich, Sheffield and potentially Oxford.
  4. Expecting: Ben Cook Jan Kvech Richard Lawson Niels K Iversen NIcolai Klindt Chris Harris Ashton Boughen *confirmed
  5. What a team Ipswich have assembled. Potentially one of the best teams in recent history. If I was an Ipswich supporter I would be so excited for next season.
  6. Not sure I would expect big names at Perry Barr next season, due to their ongoing issues. I would anticipate a team similar to this: 1. Ben Cook 2. Justin Sedgmen 3. Danny King/Adam Ellis 4. Zach Cook 5. Luke Becker 6. Wiktor Lampart 7. Joe Thompson
  7. Really disappointed to see they’re just ticking boxes rather than trying to field the best 15. I can’t see the poles being happy that they only have two poles. Huckenbeck and Kvech shouldn’t be anywhere near near the GPs currently.
  8. Wild card predictions: (I would love Emil & Artem but I just don’t see it happening) Jason Doyle Mikkel Michelsen Patryk Dudek Leon Madsen/Tai Woffinden
  9. Snooze fest. Summed up by the pathetic attempt of a trophy lift with a poorly designed LED screen and no fireworks/confetti. Belle Vue deserved better. Has Matt Ford stolen the fireworks again?
  10. If Kubera doesn’t get through via the GP Challenge I would fully expect him to get a wild card for 2025, alongside Doyle, Dudek and Michelsen.
  11. Guest choice for Belle Vue is very important next week. Who is available and on what average?
  12. Slipping away from Sheffield now. I do think they will win on the night but 16 points with 11 races to go may be a bit too much.
  13. Robert Lambert is the strongest challenger to Bartosz Zmarzlik for the foreseeable future. He is coming into his prime now.
  14. Leicester (and their 8th rider Christina Turnbull) do not deserve that. Ipswich should have been home but dry and it has to be said they have thrown it away with the falls… in particular that King fall on a 5-1 has come back to haunt them. Hawkins has nothing to lose so he should be putting an appeal in tomorrow morning.
  15. Correct decision re Becker but this is has been absolute BS tonight, and she has totally ruined the match. A total farce. Hawkins needs to appeal regardless of the result IMO.
  16. Turnbull is a joke! There has to be an appeal if Ipswich lose this!?
  17. I think that may be the last we see of Danny King as an Ipswich rider.
  18. What a surprise that is from Ellis! Certainly wasn’t expecting that. Was just about to say Ipswich have a few too many passengers but Ellis has proven me wrong
  19. Turnbull wanting her TV moment clearly. Quite possibly the worst ref call I’ve ever seen.
