Coventry V Poole. 15/07/2016 Elb

Great meeting! Well done boys! Always great to get the win over those Pesky Pirates! Kasprzak, Bates and King were stunning. Amazing to see Bates improving every meeting. It's been amazing to see his progress. As he would say: "UP THE BEES!" Interesting when Pedersen was put out against stronger opposition he went AWOL, funny that. Well done Hans Andersen, amazing riding tonight mate. -

Is he seriously trying to pull that one? It pains me to say this as a Bees fan but Poole have done absolutely nothing wrong. Not their fault this is how the rules have let it get to. Coventry could have done exactly the same if they had got Garrity to do 4 damn meetings in reserve and signed a better rider than Woryna, but we've all seen how well Garrity's 'choice' has got the team haven't we? Not surprised we're nearly bottom with ambition like that. Say what you want about Poole but at least they want to win. Something sadly our promotion lack. I'll be there anyway although I'm not quite sure what I'm letting myself into. Bees 39-51 Poole -

Gutted but it's still not good enough really is it? You just can't be 16 points down at home after 5 heats. Kasprzak though was absolutely stunning. Special mention to Lewis Rose and Josh Bates who really have come on leaps and bounds. Such a shame the Bees are going out on a whimper . Thoroughly enjoyed that but with such a poor attendance you couldn't hear many people cheering.. -
Sadly it just looks like Mick is just 'getting it over and done with'.
-
It's quite obvious they're not even going to use Barker let alone make a change so what's the point in even speculating...utterly appalling management
-
Every day that passes gives me less enthusiasm that they're going to make a signing. Absolutely atrocious. This year seems to be Mick just seeing it out til the bitter end. Such a shame our last season is being spent with no passion. and WHY are we ignoring Barker and constantly using RR? Feel quite sorry for Ben actually because he could have been riding elsewhere.
-
Garrity ruled out for a month. Wishing him a speedy recovery, such a shame when he's been riding so well. We are going to need a temporary replacement now... There is no way we can deal with R/R if the promotion even want a sniff of the play offs (which is already unlikely). Either use squad man Barker or if he fits, pencil Simon Stead in for a month?

Coventry V Wolves Monday 9th May
TheSmiler replied to mdmc82's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
This will go one way and not in Coventrys favour. The opportunity for a new rider has been missed and I'll be surprised if they hit 40 tonight. 36-57. -
Oh my goodness. Is that a late April fools hahah. I'm eating my words here wow. Well done to the management for proving us all wrong. Scrap that I just read the end post. Why do this to me? HAHA
-
Not exactly a lot to shout home about I'm afraid. It's a dire situation.
-
Huge shout out to the management for not giving us something to look forward to on Monday! Let's just face it - we aren't getting any new riders. This is the team for the rest of the season and for the end of Coventry Bees. It's sad but I guess we just have to roll with it now.
-
I wouldn't get rid of Kasprzak, aside from a few duff rides he's done a pretty decent job as number one. It's Garrity that should have been in reserve but at least he's scoring some points now. King, Woryna and Sarjeant are useless (Sarjeant's score flatters him tonight). Bates has also done a decent enough job and probably more than some were expecting. We have points to spare. Lose King and (unfortunately) Woryna, get two decent riders in and maybe we won't finish bottom.
-
Can we just demolish the place now then if his comments are true? No ambition at all, seems it's a case of just getting the job done and closing the place down. Such a shame the Bees have to bow out this way.
-
Utterly embarrassing. Looks like this is a case of 'let's just get the season over with and bolt the doors and demolish the place'...
-
On second thoughts thinking about the options for King plus R/R this is an easy opportunity for Swindon surely.
-
I take it by the fact there's no post on here that nobody is interested? Can't say I blame them though. Although the Bees might actually get a decent win from this one.

Coventry V Poole El Friday 22nd April 2016

Oh how he mighty have fallen... -
Promote him then!
-
King and Sarjeant out. Larsen and Roynon (anything is better!) in?
-
Get rid of King. Absolute garbage. He is not a heat leader and unless they can somehow get him to second string then I'd rather They try and get hold of someone capable of scoring more points in crucial heats. Bees should have won this tonight, Lynn were there for the taking Thoughts with Rory and Woryna. How much bad luck can Rory get?! Might be best he considers hanging up the kevlars now, the guy has been through too much. Unluckiest guy in speedway. Gotta feel for him
-
I've just looked at the green sheets and Lewis Kerr now has an average of 4.47 and will see him move into the 1-5 as of today (9/4). Piotr Swiderski (4.29) moves to reserve
-
Agreed. Woryna is doing as expected and actually seems happy to be here. Would be very harsh to drop him because of a management error. If he had less pressure and a team that could carry him it would be easier. Unfortunately we won't win anything with such weak reserves anyway.
