  1. Ghost, 2 things I am not so sure about, in Elitserien. Heat 15 used to be top scorers nominated heat but there are some meetings where top scorer is not in heat 15. Also, do bonus points count when you count who may ride in last heat? And what about gates in heat 15? Is it always home 1&3?
  2. Remove the joker and bring back reserve (max 3 rides allowed to avoid situation when Gollob is on reserve and every time against strongest opponents )
  3. Fair enough. Never heard about Robert Lambert. If he is only 14 then I must admit he seems skilled. You didn't get my point. I didn't try to say that US future is brighter. It was kind of arony. How can you compare USA (with few odd tracks) to GB where you have how many? 25-30 tracks? With such a high numer of tracks/clubs you should be at least close to Poland and Scandinavia. But they produce some talents every year mainly thank's to one simple rule. Fixed numer of local U21 riders in every team. I would be more than happy to watch young Brits every Monday in Elite League and see how they progress as I'm a big fan of British speedway. And I believe it was Chris Louis year or two ago, who said how important for GB speedway it is to follow 'Polish way' and give young Brits places in Elite League teams. Seems that noone listened him and it wasn't even discussed during annual promoters meeting.
  4. GB future is not brighter than American. Auty, Worrall? Gimme a break. Only slim hope is Tai. And solution is simple. In Poland 2 Polish juniors in a team. In Sweden - one. Why there is no such rule in Elite League? Give 10 British boys chance every year and in 5-10 years time you will see some talents like we do in Poland. Janowski, Dudek, Zmarzlik, Pawlicki brothers. All close or even better than Tai now. But British promoters prefer to moan about CMA's, tactical rules etc. Very Sad.
  5. Ghost, I have a quick question. What are the rules for team positioning? Last year many top riders were dropping to reserve after one or two bad meetings. This year it seems it doesn't really work that way. Please explain. Thanks in advance.
  6. Bjarne Pedersen was going to replace Shields. But now with Bjarne injured they might use Kildemand. Not confirmed but possible.
  7. Poland defeated ROTW 47-44 in Torun (October 2011). Now it's time for revenge. The one and only Tony Rickardsson as a manager decided to keep 3 riders from 1st leg lineup (Hancock, Jonsson and Ward), added Crump, Saifutdinov, Harris and MJ Jensen (in place of Nicki, Lindback and Vaculik - they all struggled in Torun). Marek Cieslak decided to make 2 changes bringing 2 local heroes in (Bartosz Zmarzlik replaces Pawlicki and new Gorzow rider Krzysztof Kasprzak replaces Miedzinski). Live tv coverage - TVP Sport and TVP 1. Another great meeting in prospect! Can't wait!

  9. Is it true that Zengota will replace Sullivan tomorrow? Will Bjarne move to 5 if that is the case?
  10. http://www.polskizuzel.pl/mecz/ Big meeting is coming! Poland after winning World Cup three times in a row now stands up against Rest of The World. What a lineup it is. 2 more riders Kolodziej and Sullivan will be added as soon as contracts are signed. Meeting formula exactly the same as Ekstraliga. 5 seniors + 2 U21 riders. Only exception - Joker allowed when team 8 pts behind. Meeting will be covered live by TVP1. Can't wait!
  11. I see that last year it was 20 heats (top 3 to the final) + last chance race (riders placed 4-7) with winner joining top 3 in a Grand Final race.
  12. Is it GP style formula? 20 heats + semis + final? Is a winner of final heat a champion or points scored in all heats (5 rides + semi + final) count?
  13. Hi Anders, is Dennis Andersson fit? He missed yesterday's meeting in UK. Or Holder in at 4 for him and Alden for Berntzon down at 6?
  14. Rico missed Lakeside meeting yesterday. Are you sure he is ready to ride tonight?
  15. Reserve allowed max 3 rides per meeting and no such stories like Gollob or Crump at reserve.
  16. As much as I love Elite League (watching it from Poland), I have to say that you Brits (I mean BSPA) need to make changes quick. At least one under 21 Brit in every EL team is a must. Someone might say there is no way to find 10 young riders in UK ready to race in top division but there is no other way. Ekstraliga teams have 2 Polish juniors per team in every meeting, Elitserien one U21 Swede each team. It is the only way to motivate clubs to invest in young local lads and in a long run the only way to build a strong team for World Cup. At the moment facts are: - Team GB 6th in the world - no Brits in U21 Individual Finals!
  17. Can't imagine similar situation in any other pro sport. Less than 24 hours to go and no official lineups on speedwaygp.com or fim-live.com
  18. Are Dryml brothers both fit to ride? Ales was out since May 26th and Lukas missed GP Qualifier last Saturday.
  19. No injuries then? Good. Were they fighting to win that heat rather then team riding for a 5-1?
  20. What happened to Nicki in Vargarna meeting? Looks like KK excluded as a victim but Nicki unable to ride in a re-run of heat 15. Any more info about accident?
  21. Vargarna - Vastervik today Vargarna 1. Adrian Miedzinski 2. Kim Nilsson 3. Nicki Pedersen 4. Lee Richardson 5. Krzysztof Kasprzak 6. Eric Andersson? 7. Viktor Bergström Västervik 1. Adam Shields 2. Sebastian Ulamek 3. Chris Harris 4. Nikolai Klindt 5. Peter Ljung 6. Pontus Aspgren 7. Tomasz Jedrzejak Is Eric Andersson fit to ride? Or Magnus Karlsson steps in? And what about riding order? Is it correct or new avarages apply and Nilsson, Shields and Klindt drop to reserve?
  22. Can anyone explain to me how come Sullivan was at reserve tonight? Do they use current season avarages for team positioning? And if they do, will Nilsson ride at reserve tomorrow and Bergstroem at 2? The same in Vastervik, will Aspgren and Jedrzejak move to the main body and Shields and Klindt both drop to reserve? Thanks for help in advance.
  23. Looks like Herbie is testing new silencers for GP. Cant imagine him losing to Tsukanov twice. Also beaten by Aarnio and Smolinski (twice as well).
