What are the playoffs rules this year? 1-6, 2-5, 3-4 with 3 winners and lucky loser to semis? Or top 2 already in semis and 3-6, 4-5 in quarterfinals?

Swc Final, Vojens, 31/07/2010
krompa replied to Mateusz's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
Yes, one reserve each team should be allowed. Let's say with maximum 3 rides to protect strange situations like Gollob at reserve and thrown always against the strongest opponents for example. Would be fair and safe in case of injury. -
Any info about the practice in Vojens? Lineups anyone?

You guys talk rubbish, better get some knowledge first. Weather forecast was more rain between 14:00-17:00 and it was a must to prepare slick/hard as a rock track to avoid another postponement. Rain missed Gorzow finally, but don't blame people in charge for slick track. Hope it will be grippy tomorrow in King's Lynn.

Gothenberg Gp 08/05
krompa replied to shankley61's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
Looking at second link you provided Ghost it looks like we may expect 0.7mm between 17:00 and 22:00. It's not that much I guess and rock hard track will let the meeting go on. Racing will be poor in this situation. -
Rider Total Points All rides count, with all tactical points counting as normal score e.g. 3-2-1-0. Bonus points do not count for settlement purposes. If a quoted rider fails to line up for one heat bets are void. Additionally, if match is abandoned before full completion all bets are void When Rider Total Points are offered for Grand Prix events, settlement will be based on points accumulated in the main round (20 heats) only, and excluding the Semi Finals and Final ride off.

Do Playoffs work exactly the same way like in Poland? Lejonen winning twice will be 1st and will meet best loser (probably Vastervik if they managed to win at home by any amount)? Then the other semi will be Vetlanda vs. Vargarna. Poor Dackarna, +8 after 8 heats, +2 after heat 14 and finally lost by 2 and now need a win away to stay in the game.
-
Do you have Play-offs pairs? I believe Vetlanda and Vastervik picked opponents at the end of TV coverage but I missed it somehow.

How is the weather in Malilla? Forecast was pretty bad. Has it improved or rain still expected before/during the meeting? -

Danish Championship Final
krompa replied to manchesterpaul's topic in International World of Speedway
http://www.dmusport.dk/index.php?option=co...1&Itemid=66 Tried to translate it but I'm still not sure if I got it correct. Looks like all pts from both finals count and only if tied then better place in the final heat counts. If I'm correct the Danish 2009 champion might be crowned before the final heat and it will be run just for fun. Strange. -
And winner of the final will be Danish champion? Or it's the one who gets most pts?
-
Danish Final Leg 2 will be on TV live and I'm pretty sure someone will find and post Internet streaming links for us (hopefully ). Any chance for full race card to follow meeting with details? Thanks in advance.

Polish League Sunday 26th July
krompa replied to racers and royals's topic in International World of Speedway
No, reserves are able to have 6 rides only if one of rides is tactical sub (when 6 pts behind). As Polonia was always in front it was managers decision when he wants to use Emils 5th ride. When AJ broke the tapes and Saifu came in for him, it was obvious that Wozniak cannot be replaced in heat 12 and Saifu will not ride in heat 14 either. -

I'm happy to see Tomek Chrzanowski winning the most im portant heat of the year (14th) for Bydgoszcz and saving their Ekstraliga spot. After all criticism (Polonia "fans" almost destroyed his van after some bad meeting) he proved he is still able to fight and score crucial points. Polonia Bydgoszcz is safe now and there will be big battle to avoid relegation between my beloved Wybrzeze Gdansk and Sparta Wroclaw. -
The 2009 Individual Swedish Championship
krompa replied to Ghostwalker's topic in International World of Speedway
HI, what's the meeting formula? Classic - 20 heats that's it? Or any semis/final? How is the weather forecast? Improved? If not, some Polish Ekstraliga Sunday's matches will be affected with riders missing (AJ, Lindgren, Lindback, Ruud, PK, THJ, J. Davidsson, Zorro). Hope wether is good and looking forward for great night of speedway with both Polish and Swedish finals live on TV. -
Zielona Gora - Leszno this coming Friday at 19:00 (UK time). Czestochowa - Wroclaw new date not confirmed, there is a long story with this one. First league "boss" decided that it will be rerun today but he somehow forgot about Polish Pairs semifinals and Wroclaw refused to ride (they would miss some riders) then again league "boss" moved date to Friday but it doesn't suit Czestochowa (Lee has Lakeside meeting) and they said that there is some event already planned on the stadium and there is no way to run the meeting. Now league "boss" will start the trial against Czestochowa to find if they bluff or it was true and event was arranged long before. Funny story, as you can see people in charge are idiots not only in UK (BSPA) but in Poland too. Mr Ryszard Glod (I call him boss) is Ekstraliga Commissioner and some of his decisions are totally stupid. Most probably meeting will finally run next week.

Tai was amazing tonight. Simply flying. That kid has bright future for sure. He is not worry to make big steps and ride full time in Poland and Sweden when racing is tough, preassure is high and all GP guys around and in almost every heat against him. And his progress is pretty fast. Remember him last year and he looked much worse on Polish wide tracks. Hell of a difference now and WC Race Off in Leszno was perfect example. Bridger and Kennett will be light years behind him in 2 years time. The only young British hope for really big success.

Normally you can use R/R for any of your top 3 rider missing...but there is something similar to UK's green sheet avarages which are being updated every 3 rounds. In this case Czestochowa was allowed R/R for Nicki on Monday (as he was one of top 3 in GSA) but on Wednesday new GSA came into affect and Nicki has not ridden enough meetings/heats and that was the reason he wasn't in team's top 3 for meeting vs. Gorzow (or actually he was out of that list not reaching minimum number of heats neccessery for CMA to be effective). Hope it helps a bit.

Will Hans ride for Dackarna tomorrow? He missed Sunday's meeting in Poland and Monday's meeting in UK. Any news?

Sullivan Out...shields In
krompa replied to Sir Josten's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
Crump and Boyce are both stupid then. Sullivan is consistant scorer in Polish league with very good record in Leszno. Away CMA 7.61 (6.97 without bonus points). 11+1 in last years Ekstraliga final. He would have done much, much better than Batchelor, I'm sure about it. -

Gb World Cup Team
krompa replied to DarrenCook's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
Any idea when official lineup will go public? Or it's gonna be hidden secret and confirmed lineup will be known 29 mins after the practice (which is from 13:00 to 15:00 CET)? -
Swc Race-off
krompa replied to Danish Webmaster's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
http://www.sportowefakty.pl/zuzel/2009/07/...go-toromistrza/ Interview with chief of Leszno trackstuff. He said he will do the track the way Ole Olsen wants him to do it. Personally he would love to do it semi-grippy but he knows it must be riders safety firstly. I'm pretty sure Olsen will tell him to prepare it as slick as hell to suit Danes! Boring gate and go I'm afraid.
