  1. I'm happy to see Tomek Chrzanowski winning the most im portant heat of the year (14th) for Bydgoszcz and saving their Ekstraliga spot. After all criticism (Polonia "fans" almost destroyed his van after some bad meeting) he proved he is still able to fight and score crucial points. Polonia Bydgoszcz is safe now and there will be big battle to avoid relegation between my beloved Wybrzeze Gdansk and Sparta Wroclaw.
  2. HI, what's the meeting formula? Classic - 20 heats that's it? Or any semis/final? How is the weather forecast? Improved? If not, some Polish Ekstraliga Sunday's matches will be affected with riders missing (AJ, Lindgren, Lindback, Ruud, PK, THJ, J. Davidsson, Zorro). Hope wether is good and looking forward for great night of speedway with both Polish and Swedish finals live on TV.
  3. Zielona Gora - Leszno this coming Friday at 19:00 (UK time). Czestochowa - Wroclaw new date not confirmed, there is a long story with this one. First league "boss" decided that it will be rerun today but he somehow forgot about Polish Pairs semifinals and Wroclaw refused to ride (they would miss some riders) then again league "boss" moved date to Friday but it doesn't suit Czestochowa (Lee has Lakeside meeting) and they said that there is some event already planned on the stadium and there is no way to run the meeting. Now league "boss" will start the trial against Czestochowa to find if they bluff or it was true and event was arranged long before. Funny story, as you can see people in charge are idiots not only in UK (BSPA) but in Poland too. Mr Ryszard Glod (I call him boss) is Ekstraliga Commissioner and some of his decisions are totally stupid. Most probably meeting will finally run next week.
  4. Tai was amazing tonight. Simply flying. That kid has bright future for sure. He is not worry to make big steps and ride full time in Poland and Sweden when racing is tough, preassure is high and all GP guys around and in almost every heat against him. And his progress is pretty fast. Remember him last year and he looked much worse on Polish wide tracks. Hell of a difference now and WC Race Off in Leszno was perfect example. Bridger and Kennett will be light years behind him in 2 years time. The only young British hope for really big success.
  5. Normally you can use R/R for any of your top 3 rider missing...but there is something similar to UK's green sheet avarages which are being updated every 3 rounds. In this case Czestochowa was allowed R/R for Nicki on Monday (as he was one of top 3 in GSA) but on Wednesday new GSA came into affect and Nicki has not ridden enough meetings/heats and that was the reason he wasn't in team's top 3 for meeting vs. Gorzow (or actually he was out of that list not reaching minimum number of heats neccessery for CMA to be effective). Hope it helps a bit.
  6. Will Hans ride for Dackarna tomorrow? He missed Sunday's meeting in Poland and Monday's meeting in UK. Any news?
  7. Crump and Boyce are both stupid then. Sullivan is consistant scorer in Polish league with very good record in Leszno. Away CMA 7.61 (6.97 without bonus points). 11+1 in last years Ekstraliga final. He would have done much, much better than Batchelor, I'm sure about it.
  8. http://www.czarnysport.pl/news.php?id=1993 According to some Polish speedway portal it will be Batchelor in for Shields.
  9. Any idea when official lineup will go public? Or it's gonna be hidden secret and confirmed lineup will be known 29 mins after the practice (which is from 13:00 to 15:00 CET)?
  10. http://www.sportowefakty.pl/zuzel/2009/07/...go-toromistrza/ Interview with chief of Leszno trackstuff. He said he will do the track the way Ole Olsen wants him to do it. Personally he would love to do it semi-grippy but he knows it must be riders safety firstly. I'm pretty sure Olsen will tell him to prepare it as slick as hell to suit Danes! Boring gate and go I'm afraid.
  11. Will Matej Zagar be fit to ride? Any news from yesterday's practice?
  12. Ward was never in declared lineup. How come they replace him? So who's replacing Schlein? Watto or Shieldsy?
  13. Who will replace Schelin? Watt? or Shields? My call would be Shields for sure. He knows track in Leszno pretty well. Did great in Sunday's top meeting with Torun and if they pick Watt instead it will be big mistake IMHO.
  14. By the way. How Nicolai looked during the practice? Any chance he will score some important pts in case Hans is out? How was Andreas Jonsson after his Tuesday's crash?
  15. Thanks guys. Any fresh news from official practice? Did Hans give it a go or not?
  16. No news about Hans. He missed Poole's meeting yesterday and I couldn't find any info about his fitness after big crash. Is he feeling good enough to ride on Saturday?
  17. How is Hans doing now? Will he be ready to ride in World Cup on Saturday? Or Mads Korneliussen/Patrick Hougaard steps in?
  18. Come on. People, you need to stop. Did Emil fence anyone on purpose? As far as I know all his GP accidents were caused by other riders and here he was just trying to cut in front of Hans and missed it by few inches which caused the nasty crash. But he is simply young, full of passion and there is nothing wrong about it. Or you maybe prefer such boring riders like Adams, Nicholls, Richardson, Hampel to only name a few gate and go specialists? Young Gollob used to be a bit crazy, Nicki not only crazy but sometimes rode unfair on purpose to leave opponents no room and make them shot the throttle off. But at the end of the day you go to the stadium to see some action and entertainment. Bring me more Saifus, more Gollobs, more Lorams and I will be happy as hell. That's speedway!
  19. How was the track during practice? Any dirt on it or we can expect another 'a'la Ole Olen' slick track? Anyone got official times? Who was the quickest etc.?
  20. Oh, I got your point, second in the lineup declared for tomorrow's meeting. Yes?
  21. Thanks Anders, but are you sure Holder has second rolling CMA? Not Adams? Nicki Pedersen * (DK) 10,44 9,93 42 20 4 Leigh Adams * (AU) 10,18 9,96 36 16 3 Chris Holder * (AU) 6,17 6,38 35 20 4 Piotr Swiderski * (PL) 6,04 6,28 31 18 4 Tomasz Jedrzejak * (PL) 5,95 5,58 0 3 1 David Ruud * (SE) 5,91 6,20 41 24 5 David Watt * (AU) 5,75 5,66 21 15 3 Lewis Bridger (GB) 5,11 ... ... ... ... Zbignien Suchecki * (PL) 4,15 4,11 7 7 2 from speedway.nu
  22. Will Nicki Pedersen ride? If not, TV should cover Rospiggarna - Pitraterna. Much closer for sure. What about Holder? Missed yesterday's meeting in Torun and wasn't ready to ride tonight in UK. What other options can Lejonen use? Adams or R/R for Nicki, Jedrzejak/Suchecki/Kramer for Holder?
  23. I believe no Watt for Lejonen as he felt very bad yesterday, withdrawn from heat 15. Any news who's in? Jedrzejak?
  24. Just found he rode last week in Allsvenskan and did good job scoring 13.
