  1. Interesting, seeing as he's guesting for Kent tomorrow night at Birmingham.
  2. Ben Barker out for a while after having his appendix out. It’s on his Facebook page.
  3. More problems for Plymouth. I’ve just seen on Facebook that Ben Barker has had his appendix removed. He’s going to be out for a while
  4. I’m sure it was mentioned in the comments on the update site that he had an exam yesterday.
  5. Not to defend Shroeck but wasn’t Heeps limping quite badly after he got off his bike at the end of heat 13?
  6. Planning permission only allows the use of the track for public events between 12.00 and 17.00.
  7. You've obviously not been following the two teams on Facebook then. Lots of posts on there.
  8. Tai has posted a reel to Facebook https://www.facebook.com/reel/675570008427768 If you can't see the reel he lists his injuries in it. Injury list 🤯 Double compound right femur fracture (pinned and bolted) Broken back TH9 plated and screwed to TH8 & TH10 Right humorous compound fracture Dislocated + smashed right elbow 12 broken ribs + punctured lung Left broken shoulderblade Dislocated left shoulder Wild typing all that out 🫠 think thats about it No wonder he was in an induced coma. Get well soon!
  9. That’s what was announced, so I had to mention it.
  10. That's correct, he turned down offers from two other clubs before being told he wasn't in the Kent team.
  11. Nathan Hargrave is signing number 6.
  12. Interesting news https://www.facebook.com/groups/1806730963136661/?hoisted_section_header_type=recently_seen&multi_permalinks=1935527396923683
  13. I won't quote the full @old bob at herne bay post but yesterday's meeting was a really enjoyable afternoon. A mixture of laydown and upright racing all contributing to the overall scores of the four team tournament, followed by the Vic Harding Memorial Trophy. A decent crowd were treated to some fabulous racing at Iwade, on a lovely sunny afternoon.
  14. They are not unlicensed meetings, please follow this link for more details about the organisation. https://nora92.com/the-nora-speedway-league/
  15. https://www.kent-speedway.co.uk/fixtures Home fixtures at present.
  16. I saw Luke ride twice last season at Kent. The first was before his injury when he was guesting for Mildenhall and the second after his injury when riding for the Comets. He rode very well in both, and scored 8 from 5 for Mildenhall, which included an exclusion after a coming together with Ben Morley as they crossed the finish line, he also beat Morley for third place in heat 15, that gave Mildenhall a 2 point win. He scored 7 from 5 in the Workington match, he had two lasts. One in heat 15 and the other in his first race where he fell and remounted. He's definitely got a bright future ahead of him.
  17. Have you got a link at all for this Goodwood case please?
  18. I only got back into live speedway when Kent moved to Iwade in 2022, prior to that I couldn't get to Sittingbourne due to the early start time. I am now faced with a shortest distance of 82 miles to get to the nearest track to me, Ipswich. I'm sure the M25 and A12 are lovely on a Monday/Thursday evening rush hour. So having been able to go to live speedway after quite a long break I find myself without any to watch in person. I do subscribe to BSN, and will do so again, but I'm sure that there are plenty of other people who find themselves in the same boat as me. Apologies to Mildenhall fans for hijacking your topic.
