Hi, has anyone heard anything about when the two postponed fixtures will be re-staged?. I know the Ipswich fixture could be difficult, due to them having a lot of Thursday fixtures, but it is now nearly a month since the Edinburgh match was off. Any info will be appreciated.

Just wondered about Scunny's MDL team. Didn't Sam Chapman ride for Plymouth in the Premier League two years ago? . Would not have thought a rider could drop down from Premier League to MDL.

Yes and he won the race. Was in races at previous meetings, but did not win them.

Well, what has been announced today 7th March 2017, is exactly what was speculated about 28th February 2017, on this thread. Sky pull out and BT do 18 matches. I think it says something about the parties involved that we have to wait a week for the news. I notice that Sky, on their website still have a link to speedway on Sky. Who are they trying to fool? The BSPA on their website have said we are in for a treat. How many speedway fans think at least 7 less matches (Sky originally stated they will do at least 25) is a treat? And how many speedway fans, who subscribe to Sky Sports, but not BT think that either losing their speedway on TV or incurring a greater cost is a treat.

So, do what I do. Record it on Sky+. Start watching it after the match has started. Use fast forward when there is a bit you do not want to watch.

Have sky got out of the contract, by pointing out that there is no longer a league called the British Elite League? Did the promoters drop a clanger in re-naming the top tier league?

So, just curios. If Josh G is riding for us, will Somerset use an equivalent guest, or will they bring in a NL rider to even up the teams. Would the fans like to see the Tigers matched against a proper higher league team, or would they prefer it a more even contest with Somerset using NL guest?

Is that why we are waiting for the announcement? Need an official statement re Belle Vue first?

So, if the full fixtures are out (as per BSPA) the Belle Vue Coventry alliance are racing away matches only.

According to Leicester Speedway website, the season ticket price includes a challenge match. None showing as yet on their fixtures.

Don't think Sissis will be riding speedway this year

I would guess there will be a challenge match March 30th, otherwise why give it as a reserved date. Possibly waiting for opponents to confirm?

And what will the format be? With 3 less teams can not do same as last year

Both Leicester and Belle Vue are now confirmed for 2017 season, so no reason not to get on with it.
