  1. Cradley Fixture now September 11th. Pity they do not have earlier start time. Would have considered doing this and PLRC same day. Sure a few others would have.
  2. Buxton have also altered some fixtures. New dates on fixtures page, but nothing to bring it to attention of those who are not looking for changes.
  3. Just now seen that Nathan Greaves is riding in the under 19 championship on that night so is Zach Wacjchecht so why switch a match to a date riders unavailable and guests could be hard to get.
  4. Just noticed that the Somerset home match now on fixtures as Wednesday 14 September. Anyone know why it is switched to a Wednesday?
  5. Sorry, but I think I will give up trying to work out what they are trying to do with fixtures. The match I intended going to on 18 Sep now reserved only (no explanation given for the change). Both league home fixtures which need to be arranged (if indeed they will be) both opponents have matches on the 11th and 18th September (not sure 11th September would be a good date with PLRC Sheffield same date), Try to support Buxton when I can, not very easy as things are going. Some clues from the promotion would held. I also assume that the early season Stoke "air fence" match will not take place.
  6. Not been too much rain, plenty of wind, no more rain forecast, fairly certain it will be on.
  7. No criticism intended from me. Buxton is not my home town club, but go there when I can. When I go I get to see more speedway, Buxton get more income, which is why I fail to understand changing fixtures, without drawing more attention to the change.
  8. Was planning to visit Buxton September 18th, for the Birmingham match, but now appears this date is reserved only. For those of us who have written down the dates in diaries, and made plans, would be nice if extra attention was brought, for these changes. Would not have been happy if I had turned up September 18th. I don't keep on checking fixture lists every day "just in case", only really expect fixture changes when forces a call off.
  9. Well we made one reserve change earlier this season, but I reckon the points Richard Hall would have scored, since the change, would exceed the amount Arthur Sissis has scored. Hope any change is for the better this time.
  10. Just looking at fixtures. Would I be correct in assuming, that there are 2 home fixtures that need to be arranged (Rye House and Eastbourne), and the Stoke air fence challenge will not be ridden?
  11. Just worked it out that according to BSPA averages, Buxton's total is 20.90 (excluding Greenwood/Mudgway). Not sure how many Dicken will come in at, or what the limit is, but should allow a high average rider for the vacancy
  12. If fans who spent time and money going to this match, decide not to go to any more, may get closed due to reducing income.
  13. What has happened to the KOC 2nd leg against Newcastle, thought this was supposed to be on 5 June.
  14. Not seen anything on web about MDL match, did not think Sheffield were in MDL. Are you sure of this?
  15. Can any Scunny locals tell me if the M181 is still closed? Thanks
  16. Just posted on twiiter UPDATE| TRACK PERFECT for tonight v Rye House. We have avoided watering due to forecast. Light drizzle due to clear - GAME ON!
  17. Still only a little rain, and I live near the track. Assume they will try their best to get this one on.
  18. What, like a certain announcer (on the Scunny centre green) on the May day Monday match saying he knew the line up, but would not tell us?
