Back to Buxton rather than Garritty. Last Sunday's match on 21st June, anyone tell me what time the main match and the MDL match finished? Just wondering as after the match on May 24th, when they announced an interval, at 5.15, after only 12 races, I packed up and went home. Is it worth bothering with them again.

Garrity now confirmed at riding, per Buxton Facebook page.

So, in less than 48 hours, Buxton are staging a meeting. I've looked on their Facebook page and website, and have no idea who is riding. I do not find that very encouraging to bother going. Surely a few words of information would be helpful and informative.

Do we know if it is Garritty, or is it just speculation? Could it be someone like James Wright? Or is Charles Wright having a practice to see if he is fit.

As an example. By June 24th this year, Sheffield will have ridden four home matches. At the same date in 2008, they had completed fourteen home matches. I think this helps to understand why some fans get out of the habit, and why riders want/need more than one league.

Curious. Why was Chris Holder not riding?

I'm sure he could delegate and advise. What has to be questioned is how many that left early will return.

Don't believe your RS guest can be from another Premiership declared team, so Rushen out. Ingram could have been a decent choice.

Made my first visit to Buxton since re-opening,on Sunday 24 May. I would like to say a big thank you for everyone who put time effort and money in to venture. However I do fear for it. Start time was nearer to 3.30 than the stated time. I appreciate ambulance was late, but rider introductions could have been done without this. Meeting just seemed to take ages. Noticed some leaving as early as heat 8. I had hoped to leave shortly after 5pm, having watched both NL and MDL match. When an interval was announced at 5.20 pm, with only 12 races completed, a few others joined me in leaving. Wonder how many will return. Thankfully didn't have the usual Buxton cold weather. A few simple and easy changes needed.

I assume it's the reduced facility for Iversen, so has to be a guest for him. Sedgemen or Kerr, if average fit, could be best available. Guess r/r for Zagar.
