Sheffield Tigers Vs Berwick 22/05/2014 Koc 2nd Leg
RS50 replied to Tigerish's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
Premier trophy not KO cup -
Who would you leave out for him?
-
Is Josh Bates injured Mildehall using r/r for him Sunday.
-
I believe it was Monday lay year but could have changed with new management and also to avoid clashes with Wolves matches
-
At least four home matches to re-arrange, and only three blank Thursdays before "Reserved for play offs" ( I assume something will be arranged for these blank dates). Be nice if the management could give us some ideas as to their plans (double headers or racing on an alternative night)
-
Some fixtures now updated on website.

Scottish Speedway And The Independance Vote
RS50 replied to teddy2706's topic in Speedway News and Discussions
There has been a French side in Rugby league's Superleague for some years now. I don't see how an independant Scottish team would be different. -

So when will this be re-staged. No free Thursday's before next round, a Monday match would mean Ty riding for Wolves, and some Sunday's stadium used for rugby or stock cars. -

And if Proctor can not ride what then? If we need a NL guest would need to have booked one by now. -

Still no rain. Still no update on Proctor situation and only about 5 and a half hours to (hopefully) tapes up. -

There was torrential rain in Sheffield, Wednesday evening, that at least must have put it in doubt -

Why is Stefan Nielson riding for Sheffield? -
Do believe we all need to back the club for it to prosper. Let's all see if we can get our stay away friends back to Owlerton. I also noticed that on the fixtures page for the website, April 24th now listed as British Semi. As I only noticed this today (April 1st) on the same day it was announced Sam Ermolenko making a comeback for Tigers, just wondered if this is correct or another April 1st announcement.
-
Rain now fairly heavy so correct decision to call off.
-
So they know but will not tell us now. Is this the best way to encourage support?
-
Stags first match on Sunday, as far as I can see, they have only five riders, have they signed anyone else??
-
Is the practice still on?? just wondered due to the rain

Eurosport Take Swedish League

Will it be shown on British Eurosport? Hope so. -
The racecard may cost a little to produce, but I would assume that it also creates revenue from the advertisements on it (possibly leaving the management in profit). On the website today, encouraging the purchase of season tickets, the link to the page giving information clearly states a racecard is included whether you have a season ticket, or pay on the day. Can anyone confirm, but I seem to remember, several years ago there was a monthly magazine on sale at the track shop.
-
Looks like good team, good track, looking forward to the announcement about what the first match will be, (and we still get the free racecard).
-
Do you really think anyone would pay £300.00 per meeting?
-
With a season ticket, should get a minimum of 19 matches, the opening friendly, 14 league, 3 league cup and 1 KOC match. Obviously no guarantee of further progression in any competition. However, with new management it is not easy to predict what else (if anything we may get). With Neil Machin you knew he was always keen to run a young guns. I think a little more information would be appreciated. Also this year are there any perks, such a Tiger Tokens?
