  1. I agree - years ago other than local radio there was no means of letting fans If a certain rider wasn’t going to be there - no excuse now with social media ( though I think Twitter and Facebook club account have died a death judging by the low amount of comments now ) but there is club websites - absolutely no excuse for fans being treated like mushrooms.
  2. A positive spin as always about all things Kings Lynn both clubs at fault - absolutely unbelievable comment - until fans are not taken for granted this sports ever downward spiral will continue .
  3. Seems to me the blame lays squarely at KL feet they knew had it been confirmed mid afternoon yesterday Lambert wasn’t going to be there it definitely had a impact on how many turned up last night - that said Belle Vue must have known as well but said nothing - for those who hope for Lambert to return to British speedway I’d say last night speaks louder than words - his BV singing was suited both club and rider Lambert got a big pay cheque Belle Vue got the league title but be under no illusion Lambert and many more don’t give a s##t about British speedway .
  4. The surprising bit for me is Zagar is there as well - as for R Lambert the clubs must have known and if it had been announced this afternoon would definitely affected the attendance that’s why it was kept quite. Definitely leaves a sour taste as the season ends but I’m sure all will be forgotten come 2023 and that’s the gamble which was played .
  5. Don’t really see Trees can put a positive spin on this one - BUT lol
  6. If the promotion knew this today and didn’t make this common knowledge I hope those who’s paid to get in make there feelings known
  7. Totally agree - I hope Robert is there tonight it’s just typical BSF scaremongering.
  8. Not telling the fans prior will do so much harm especially if fans not made aware before parting with hard earned cash - though I guess the gamble is they will have forgotten by April 2023
  9. At the moment the meeting isn’t listed on the speedway updates site .
  10. And it’s been a drying day weather wise so the track shouldn’t be a problem.
  11. Klindt did tweet awhile ago European season wrapped up just two to go Stars v Tigers home and away league cup final maybe just a over sight forgetting tonight meeting or did he already no he wouldn’t be riding ?
  12. If as you say is correct it should be made clear this is the case before now . After Saturday stock car meeting and yesterday monsoon like conditions would interesting to no the state of the track as well - one thing for certain the original staging date for this meeting would have been 100% better conditions on and off track
  13. If they do I will be amazed . For those attending let’s hope they do but there is a few reason why line ups could change .
  14. I’d be very surprised if Robert races in the UK next season sadly - Jakobsen though that’s a much bigger possibility a 5 average is better for team building than a 7 average be crazy to ride and lose that lower average for what is a meaningless meeting other than pride in winning league points .
  15. Could be yes - or Jacobsen be madness for him to ride and get a new average for the sake of one meeting
  16. Simon Lamberts Facebook https://www.facebook.com/simonlambertracing
  17. One Lambert confirmed for Monday’s meeting- that’s Simon - will there be two ?? Let’s hope so
  18. For Jacobsen he definitely needs to miss the Belle Vue meeting a 5 average is far more appealing than a 7 average when team building for 2023
  19. Terrible news at such a young age my thought are with the Hedge family at this very sad time RIP
  20. I agree the club should be punished as the meeting should never have been called of in the first place as this meeting was due to have been on Eurosport and if there is payment for the tv meetings Lynn definitely should not get any payment this season - though not running this meeting stops deliberate average reduction.
  21. Wouldn’t hold your breath Robert Lambert will be there when it’s run - the smart money is on Simon Lambert being there rather than Robert
  22. That rules KL out then - a transfer fee or a season long lone fee for Lambert the most likely outcome. As I said if he rides in the UK Manchester is ideal to fly in and out of the UK .
  23. I personally think Lambert could well stay with Belle Vue If he was to return to race in the UK for one reason Manchester Airport the ease of flying in and out of the UK - seem to remember Jason Crump saying similar when he was at Belle Vue
