Funny how you never see the negatives even if they are right under your nose they just wear the cloak of invisibility lol - you keep wearing those blinkers and don’t forget your rose tinted glasses - -

I honestly believe they don’t care if long term fans walk away if they did care they’d at least try to sort the problem out speedway in general make 0% effort in this. -

Absolutely right - AFA is now a stock car stadium first and foremost- speedway is secondary and id guess sometimes an inconvenience- Some can kid themselves that isn’t the case but sadly they are wrong . -

Maybe it’s a case of the older fans remember when we actually had racing rather than gate and go - as for admission I’d much sooner pay £25 and actually see some top riders rather than the same bunch doubling up in both leagues -

Absolutely spot on - id have thought the way to stop the massive decline in the sport would be to listen to fans that have walked away - those who still go are almost turkeys at Christmas- lol - and yes I do care about the club it’s been a massive part of my life and I’d never have thought I’d walk away from it - but does anyone of the promotion care ? -

I’m not commenting on meetings I’ve never been to as far as I no ??? Can only go by what I read and friend that still attends - I’ve seen the BT meetings and the Kings Lynn v Poole (think it was Poole) on BT which I didn’t see the end off because I was bored stiff - promotions should maybe take more notice of fans reasons why they stopped attending don’t you think ? And try to sort the problem out - these who attend in all honesty they don’t really matter as you I guess hand over your money and see no wrong - it’s more about getting new fans and existing fans back don’t you think ? -

I follow what goes on at the club and in speedway in general what is wrong with that ? I’m not saying I will never go again it’s just not for me at the moment . -

No definitely no just you our round trip is 40 miles - I no several fans that have stopped going for various reason cost being one long drawn out meetings being another when working the next day poor value for money is another gate and go racing , we watch on tv and from what I’ve seen it certainly doesn’t make us want to return apart from the Belle Vue meetings on tv the rest have been a bore fest . -

That’s sums up the exact reason we stopped going for the two of us with travel cost it was £45 - £50 a meeting we used to walk to the car after the meeting and most meetings we asked why did we attend neither of us enjoyed most meetings so we stopped going that was 2 years ago and to be honest we’ve not missed it in the slightest- Now we get home from work have a meal watch tv and relax rather than rushing home from work chasing to Kings Lynn to pay out on something we for most part we wasn’t enjoying . -

100% down to desire or lack of it - we was the same with the air fence or safety foam barrier seems to remember in the PL days we had Oxford air fence the club wanted volunteers to put the air fence up and take it down not many or any people came forward so the air fence sat round the back of the terracing pit end and riders continued to get injured John Oliver was one - so I guess if we all turned up with wheel barrows we could have proper red speedway shale lol -

Forever the loyalist that’s trees lol None of the above matter when the promotion (and I used the word promotion in a very lose way as there isn’t much promoting going on ) doesn’t have any intention of using red shale they are quite happy using clay based with a few stone thrown in - sooner everyone realises its all about stock cars rather than speedway the better -

Absolutely spot on - though thing to remember is Kings Lynn is a stock car stadium that just happens to stage a few speedway meetings . -
From what I saw on Tv last week Buster done exactly the same at KL though there is stock cars at Lynn is that the plan for the show ground ?

Peterborough v Belle Vue - Prem Mon 15th July
Haza replied to bigcatdiary's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
First of all I hope those who crashed last night are ok - BUTLost the will to live and turned over to watch the paint drying channel- Buster may have saved the league and Pboro speedway and the BT contract but with a track like last night he’s doing his best to kill the sport . -
Kings Lynn v Poole Prem. 8th July 2019 BT Sports.
Haza replied to Steve Shovlar's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
I will be watching tonight be good to see a KL home meeting it’s the clubs chance to inspire me to attend the next home meeting. -
In a 7 team mini league when one man own 3 clubs the rider merry go round carries on between all 3 clubs only one conclusion =farce
-
Dissenters ??? Do you not mean paying customers? What a disrespectful way to call paying customers - Most people have work the next morning and want to get home some people have children with them and want to get home maybe you have neither and can take your time after the meeting but for most people that isn’t the case .
-
Well there wouldn’t be as bigger gap between the haves and the have nots as there was in 1995 as most of the top riders have turned there back on the UK - Lambert could well do that next season if he gains a permanent GP place and take Doyle away as well it’s the championship in all but name any way - the downside to one big league will be not enough meetings for some riders - Buster with out doubt saved the PL this season and saved the TV contract with BT but from what I’ve witnessed it’s more likely to put fans off going other than meetings from the NSS the meetings have been poor .
-
Thank you for that reply to my original question

Without knowing all the facts can I asked is it down to fixed race nights in the PL why the Tigers had to switch to Sunday’s? I

There you go - I was replying to Bagpuss post he bought the subject up not me
-
And that’s the exact reason we stopped going not the only reason admittedly but the main reason- the late finishing of meetings and lack of urgency to complete the meetings was the main reason - as I’ve said before for us 7-30 start would be far better sorry if I’ve said all this before and I’m not wishing to be accused of being negative

Lynn fans must be a different breed to Panthers fans then as some seem to have a mega hump over Cook
