  1. I've been and am critical of the goings on at the club but I think some of that's a bit harsh and unfair on Buster - we do have to be careful what we wish for or we could end up with a Mick Horton type promoter- Buster has given the club stability for 25 years or so and that shouldn't be forgotten.
  2. sadly that's what's happening fans are staying away VFM this season certainly is not - least by the sound of it we are at least trying different material on the track hopefully that might help to at least get some passing on track rather than gate and go racing .
  3. why did it take a World Cup meeting to bring in different material ? What about league meetings ?The main problem or cause is the track is set up for the stock cars there is more money to be made with minimal out lay compared to speedway - it ain't going to change sadly
  4. spot on post 100% right of course I'm aware of that - if that's the case maybe he should have said he had a broken bone in his wrist rather than a broken wrist which is the case with Simon Lambert. Lambert let the team down fans down by not riding Monday then turning out last night . If he does or doesn't ride in the World Cup to be honest I'm really not bothered one way or the other- if he has a wrist injury he'd be better to take the whole week off to recover .
  5. so he hasn't a broken wrist is that what your saying ? So if he hasn't why is he saying he has ?
  6. ok fair enough - Robert Lambert hasn't a broken wrist Simon Lambert has and is out for 6 weeks there your difference .
  7. no issue what so ever would have said the same had it been Holder Batch or any of the team - I just want our 1-7 to turn out for official Kings Lynn fixtures - how can he be unfit then 24 hours later ride , had he not rode tonight there is no problem. at all .
  8. so if Chris Holder had missed a meeting in the same manner you'd said the same thing ?
  9. never mind Saturday- why wasn't he fit to ride for Lynn last night yet 24 hours later is fit to ride in Sweden ? Will he ride at Belle vue tomorrow? or won't he fancy that one either ? he might be saved by the weather on that one .
  10. most definitely shouldn't have ridden tonight absolutely, yes ride tonight had he turned out last night a wolves but he didn't. It's the same old story British clubs at the bottom of the pile . I agree but why cheat Woves and Lynn fans ?
  11. total farce no way has he a broken wrist - he should get a 28 day ban - if he's fit enough to ride tonight he should have been at Wolves last night .
  12. it's an official fixture and he should have been there - no way has he a broken wrist - a total joke
  13. Lambert taking the p###s can't ride for Lynn last night because of a broken wrist but amazingly it's a miracle he's fit to ride in Sweden tonight guess his Dr is called Jesus - he should definitely get a 28 day ban
  14. I'm more and more convinced speedway days are numbered at KL stock cars is were the money is made - my stock car friends rave about how good the track is for the cars best shale or mud track in the country I keep being told a bit like us speedway fans used to say about speedway- the track is clearly set up for cars so I think it's something we are going to have to put up with sadly - fans are drifting away for a number of reasons and once the numbers drop further it won't be viable to run . Action is needed to get the track back to something like what it once was but clearly that isn't going to happen.
  15. well your wrong there - it's good that someone is totally committed to the club .
  16. well I and many more are far from happy so your not alone . top post I totally agree I hope Trees reads this
  17. I really hope the promotion reads some of what's on here and just maybe some of this just might sink in how unhappy fans are I think the majority including myself can take a home loss as long as there has been some good racing sadly the last two weeks we've had neither and at £17 a throw fans are walking away a friend of mine stayed at home to watch England in T20 cricket last night and he'd never miss a meeting. Also what's happened to Trees not one comment has she even seen the light ??
  18. I agree there and I think you are right - a few years ago when we moved back into the top league I was chatting with Davey Watt and I asked him about coming back to Kings Lynn and he said they don't pay enough they pay on time he added - I agree I bet still the case - that said you can't fault Buster for not wanting to bankrupt the club by sticking to a budget as much as I want to see the club win .
  19. or people just wake up and don't return as that's what's going to happen if things doesn't soon change there is plenty of other things to spend our money on and if I want to watch tractors I will go and watch them on the nearest farm for free .
  20. without knowing averages I can't answer all I'm saying Sedgmen would be a good addition to the side .
  21. If we are going to have endless tractors breaks can we please start the meetings at 7-30 not near on 8 pm - Changes are still most definitely needed to the team if the new no 7 is the rider I'm hearing get used to even more delays and hold ups during the meetings . Very disappointed in most things KL this season on and off the track things are not right .
  22. Ive about had enough of it £17 value for money ? I think not can't start on time lengthy tractor breaks then an interval follow the leader in most heats . And do they care ? I think not .
