  1. too right I agree 100%- as I've said the track will soon be tarmac.
  2. I'm sure Trees must be getting in free can't think why els she defends the club and sees no wrong - we are all fans and want the club to do well - but I'm not that blinkered that I go along with everything they do or say . I just hope this season I'm proved wrong but I see a worrying trend that we've followed over the last few seasons that when they should act on the team the club bury there heads in the sand and carry on with what we got .
  3. talks of being breezy on Wednesday so maybe a call off ? Health and safety issues again
  4. now that is funny I almost fell out my chair lol going on the past few seasons my guess they ain't got plan X- Y and Z let alone plan B-C or D I really hope the club prove me wrong but I doubt it . Over the past few season we needed a ruthless streak were team changes are concerned and we failed miserably on all counts . Let's hope this season they act - this season team is good but it needs 7 riders performing not 6 or 5 - when all 7 perform like in our last home meeting we look very impressive.
  5. Jake Knight it is then on Wednesday- can't say I'm over excited about that .
  6. thing is we are back to having a no 7 that just picks up given points - we need a rider at 7 that's competitive - we saw the difference it made in our last home meeting with Lambert at 7 . Not sure were we go with this one - I'd like to think there is a plan from the promotion but going on the last few seasons I'd not hold my breath on that one .
  7. Might as well run with a 6 man team then ?
  8. well was talking to a Lynn fan today who got all the way to the stadium last night and I can tell you they was fuming- but as you say that's a risk you take being a speedway fan - what really got this person was it was a lovely evening but there you go - I certainly won't be going to Lynn unless it's perfect weather conditions .
  9. I really ? You really have got your blinkers on - all I want to no is the reason it was off it clearly wasn't the weather - so a Rye fan takes the day off and it rains and it's off yes I agree it's a chance you take but to take a day off on a dry and sunny day and then it's off surly even you wouldn't be very happy but then again your blinkered view .
  10. obviously that's that makes everything alright then ? Even you with your rose tinted glasses on must wonder the reason for the call off . top post absolutely 100% correct
  11. no there won't be a points deduction or any other penalty though in other more serious sports there would be . Speedway is fast becoming a joke a farce . Your right yesterday meeting has been swept under the carpet.
  12. Points deduction should be the minimum I think . The promotion think fans are thick the weather clearly wasn't the reason for the call off all I ask for is honesty towards the paying public. And as I said yesterday even the ones that see Kings Lynn speedway through rose tinted glasses have deserted the club on this one .
  13. absolutely right . Even the usual defenders of the club the ones that sees no wrong in the club - have gone missing tonight I wonder why ?
  14. i work with 4 Kings Lynn Stock Car regulars and they have ripped the p***s out of me and Kings Lynn Speedway all day they all say stock cars wouldn't be off - and how can I defend the club and the sport ? they have said how can speedway be taken seriously ? What a Micky Mouse sport was another comment , there is no way tonight's meeting should have been called off so early , I for one would like to no the real reason for the call off , I'd not blame Rye House for putting an official complaint and I think league point deduction wouldn't be a bad call to stop these no reason call offs .
  15. under same wether conditions would the World Cup Round have been called off ? Would a stock car meeting be called off ?
  16. I just wish a but of honesty could be given it's the total lack of respect given to fans that gets me . We are expected to turn up each meeting hand over how £17 no questions asked . Well for me tonight's call off has given me the chance to do something else tonight lets hope for the clubs sake I don't enjoy my evening out too much or I might do it again next Wednesday .
  17. Total farce dry sunny and breezy . And then they wonder why the fans give up going .
  18. do you no what that term is as insulting as using the N word if i certainly wouldn't have used that word and if I was you I'd delete your comment.
  19. so who's in for the chop ?Porsing I'm guessing ? Does the averages fit first and foremost ?
  20. Tungate for Porsing think that would be a good move .
  21. that's my thinking once all our team have a new average if more points for a change are available we should make use of them - Lambert could be a short term stop gap .
  22. I agree Lambert will score more than Bailey but that doesn't say much . I'm sure Lambert will go well at Lynn but away on the smaller tracks were we need 7 riders in the points that's were he will let us down - sorry if some don't agree
  23. Lambert will do better than Bailey that's for sure but will the signing make other team sit up and take notice ? I'm afraid not probably the most uninspiring signing of the season so far . That said hope he proves me wrong .
  24. short term replacement then until we have .
