  1. has that been the plan all along ? big crowd at both venues how could either club lose ? All this talk of a play off place yes relegation play off 😉😉
  2. For us even with the £10 to get in tomorrow night it's the traveling to the track program bite to eat - all in all for the two of us £40 or stay home and watch the same meeting no travel no eating out no program expense, just BT subscription but we'd be paying that anyway- I'd always attend TV meetings at KL but I've got so I can take it or leave it , our money is spent elsewhere sadly
  3. past caring to be honest the sport is dead on its feet .
  4. Was going to go to this but I think I will save my £10 .
  5. I agree with most you say - but 5 man teams ? Water the sport down even more I'd have thought a better route is to get to the bottom as to why riders don't want to race here and try to find a way to sort it so they do want to race here - why is it bottom of almost every riders list to want to race here ? - we have to do something and fast this sport is dead man walking . I really hope with Buster as chairman of BSPA it was going to be a new beginning for our sport how wrong could I be ?
  6. Will wait and see if Lambert doesn't ride tonight Lynn but turns out for Newcastle in the 4s tomorrow afternoon that will be interesting.
  7. This meeting should be one of both clubs biggest of the season a local derby for both clubs
  8. Holder is still on a 28 day ban had he still have been in the side as for Lambert who knows if the promotion was consistent he'd been replaced a long with Holder and Batch.
  9. even if they hadn't changed the team Holder Rose Lambert Jorgensen would be missing
  10. How can the club expect fans to turn up after the press release from last week stating that the club isn't prepared to run it the weather is dodgy as won't risk a repeat of meltdown Thursday- last week there was zero rain and it was off we've had a wind off last night the weather forecast was rain and it was windy so why was the meeting on? So do we as fans now disregard the previous weeks statement?
  11. your in a difficult position do you back Troy and Chris or Buster ?? Seems to me your backing the riders rather than the promotion. The one thing that's not consistent with this is Robert Lambert why wasn't he sacked as well ?my guess MRC sponsorship had something to do with that .
  12. Weather forecast talks of rain even though it's light rain at the moment - after Busters statement last week about not being prepared to run and have a repeat of Meltdown Thursday I'd expect a call off - just can't risk it
  13. no very little- I've as much interest as the club is showing .
  14. I agree they are not as good as a fully committed Holder but if he's no intention of returning to the club after his ban has ended surely alternatives have been looked at - as for the play offs that dream ended on meltdown Thursday.
  15. think you've buried meltdown Thursday by that comment - I will be absolutely amazed if Holder rides for the club again and if by a very slim chance he does will he give a toss about the Stars ? The relationship between rider and promotion is shot to bits relationship between rider and fans is shot to bits also the only reason Holder will return is £s no other reason .We will see what happens after the weekend when hopefully the club will announce a new rider or two and hopefully Holder is dumped . Sedgeman MPT are two that are available .
  16. So Justin Sedgmen is available he had a good meeting for Belle Vue at KL could fill Holders place .
  17. the losses I can take as long as it's been a cracking nights racing don't care if it's a win lose or draw obviously we want a win but that's totally secondary to me - when was the last time we said what a brilliant meeting ?the racing has been p##s poor all this season and longer than that if we are honest . All about VFM and for what's been dished up at Lynn this season it's not worth £17 it's more like £10 is nearer the value . As for league position did we really look like a play off contender ? We certainly don't now that's for sure .
  18. how would it work and really what difference would dropping a league make my guess 90% it's the same riders as they ride in both leagues the old PL has long gone
  19. I'm in Wisbech 20 mins from the track raining here and can honestly say there has now been 100% more rain this Wednesday than last Wednesday so I can only presume we are looking at another rain off .
  20. Should tonight's meeting go ahead as rain is forecast for today- think it may be more interesting off track than on - big question is how many will turn up after Meltdown Thursday?
