  1. We will be ok till we lose Neil's then it will be a very different team
  2. if you read the article Neil's is using last seasons uk bikes he would without doubt have new equipment for the SGP - he will get race fit for sure but GP testing on last season bikes ??
  3. Welcome back to Kings Lynn NKI according to his Peter Oakes interview in this weeks speedway Star Neils will be with us for 6-8 meetings until Troy is fit hopefully by end of April - brilliant news reported in the speedway Star not the news we all wanted Puk not signed fir the full season but at least we have our number 1 . The only question yet again opportunity missed by the club to be first with the news what has happened to Lynn own website Twitter and Facebook sites ? I suppose now we've had a moan they will spring into life later today .
  4. let's hope so Bjarne is certainly the best of the riders that still want to race in the Elite League .
  5. that's the story of the last 18 months I'm sure I'm right in saying It was common knowledge Troy had broke his arm even on Troy Twitter page it was quite awhile before Lynn website covered the broken arm to be honest the Lynn website is the last place to look on info on Kings Lynn Speedway .
  6. Sky and BT should be more realistic in what they charge customers they have to realise it's not a bottomless pit of spare cash to pay for TV Sports - how far are armchair fans willing to go with tv subscriptions that's what Sky and BT should ask themselves ? I think in lots of cases the limit has been reached .
  7. The way things are going is anyone going to be watching live on BT sports and at £19-99 can you wonder at it - it's time BT and Sky realised they can't keep paying millions for football and expect other sports fans to help pay for it .
  8. what about Bob Humphreys and Howard Cole and Clive Featherby ?
  9. ok PAL (love it when someone thinks I'm his/her pal) Kings Lynn is in the EL and most riders progress through the LOWER league I'm not knocking the LOWER league as Kings Lynn has in the past had great success in the LOWER league - but the fact is we are in the EL . Ok Pal
  10. enjoy your season in the lower league ha ha ha ha
  11. spot on - Martin Rogers signed them both .
  12. Great to hear Rory first practice went well since his crash .
  13. if Buster has deligated the job to someone else I'm sure we all suspect who that person is likely to be if it is that person they have two options shape up or ship out and as far as I'm concerned I hope it's the latter ASAP
  14. Lakeside have just signed there 9th squad member they seem to be the only club doing this apparently clubs can now blood young overseas talent in the no8 position - why has there been no BSPA Statement on squads and the no8 rule ? What are the rules on squads ? Also where does this leave other clubs ? Lakeside seem to be the only club that's got a squad system in place . Also is this a route Kings Lynn could go down of we can't gets riders that will commit to a full season
  15. it was Mark Courtney and Paul Woods not Kennett though he did ride for the club
  16. absolutely- treated like mushrooms all winter though I'd include most of last season also - treated like fools over the 50th season thing quite happy to sell tshirts and hoodies only to be told actually it's not our 50th season - quite happy to take our money though . Over the winter we've been kept in the dark no supporters meeting little info coming via the website more came via Twitter from riders .In all my years of supporting Kings Lynn Speedway and I go back to 1972 I've never known a winter like it . Let's hope we have a season to remember for the right reasons on the track and I really hope Buster and Rob take on board the concerns fans have cus without us the fans there be no speedway .
  17. don't worry about fans of other clubs running the team down you will find over the course of the season there will plenty of Lynn fans doing that .
  18. if it's Kenneth or Barker I d go with Kenneth every time least he's an EL regular rather than a PL journeyman season tickets ain't been worth a toss for years no incentive at all to buy one as Buster knows the fan who is likely to buy a season ticket will turn up anyway so why offer a discount ? That's why no incentive .
  19. well none of the other riders in the team are Niels replacement and Barker certainly isn't so guess we won't be replacing Niels all I no we have around 8 points to play with for the final rider and we should be using those points up for final rider not go with another second string .
  20. let's put it this way if the alternative is Barker then yes I would be happy with Hougarrd not ideal but least he's EL standard .
  21. Even Leicester can complete there team .
  22. there a another thing for the general manager admission prices ??? nothing against Barker as a second string but we need a out and out no1
