  1. sounds to me like this article shouldn't have been published. who was the writer of the piece ?
  2. or could he be signing with Glasgow with them moving up into the Premiership next season
  3. would be too much of a risk, needs to get himself a place in the championship first.
  4. if that is the average he'd be on in the league I'd only be looking at him if we failed to re-sign any 3 of Lindgren, Masters, Thorssell and Schlein then.
  5. he was unlucky to miss out on a place in the 2016 team as he really pushed on in '15. his away form was what let him down when he was in the third heat leader role. as a second string if his average fits he'd be a good addition.
  6. I think there will be big question marks over Lindgren and Thorssell with the nature of there injuries. Schlein I think proved to be a great signing not just on track but also in the pits and I think he should be one of the first riders signed up for 2018. What this year proved once again is every team needs a strong reserve and this should be one of the areas of team building should be focused on. Greaves I don't think is ready to be the stronger reserve but would be fine in the Number 7 role again next season. One rider I wouldn't go near is Clegg, can't see how a rider can have spent so many years riding the track yet still doesn't know the right lines.
  7. Lakeside had a place in the premiership this season but due to issues with not knowing if they would have a track or not that place was put on ice as the AGM was before they would know. perfectly fine for Lakeside to come back up if you ask me and the more teams the better in the league
  8. doubling up doesn't need to go entirely, what it does need is planning better. Premiership clubs ride on 2 or 3 nights of the week, then championship clubs ride on any of the remaining 4 nights. that way you eliminate all these clashes. unfortunately the idiots that run the sport don't seem to understand that.
  9. Greaves has looked a lot better since Riss came into the side. However for a rider who spent some time in the Cradley team he doesn't know the lines to ride round monmore still, same can be said for Clegg and he's done a lot of laps round there. Key to any team is having a strong reserve from the start and also when that reserve goes into the main body of the team the rider dropping down is strong at reserve also.
  10. that would involve splitting up the partnership of Rory and Jacob. however seeing as away form is sketchy I would have moved R/R to 2 or 4 at least, if it was a home match I'd have left Rory and Jacob together as they really do seem to have formed a good partnership. Riss is the key man tonight, if he is anything near to full fitness he could ease the pressure on the main body of the team
  11. reserves will win this meeting. and not the wolves ones
  12. Perks looked on Monday like he'd never seen the track before despite spending a year there last season. what is more worrying he didn't adapt during the meeting either just kept trying the same lines.
  13. who was part of the Team GB 'staff' this year ? I remember seeing Chris Louis in the pits a lot but that was about it.
  14. I think as long as USA aren't miles behind in the race the young lads have done themselves proud. Leszno is about 3 times bigger than what they are used to.
  15. I could be wrong but I think the rider order can change, the lineup of riders has to stay the same though unless the rider is replaced due to injury and is then not allowed back in the competition. but this is speedway so who knows. speedway rules are just a waste of paper
  16. i hope you'll be sampling the delights of the Great Western then
  17. is this the lad that has the Monster sponsorship as well ?
  18. so who is the Pole that has been caught ?
  19. nobody is strengthened by the addition of Lewis Bridger
  20. Nicki has had issues with his engines for about the last 3 years now. has never really looked quick during that time.
  21. So who will be partnering Britain's Rory Schlein in this event ?
