  1. there will be a cut off point for heat leaders in the averages, no way will someone with a higher average than a heat leader be a second string rider.
  2. wouldn't pick Roynon either, the poor lad can't go a few weeks without breaking himself in some way
  3. you'd think so, but you have to count the cost of having 2 or 3 bikes over here then paying a team of mechanics based here as well. then the added risk of injury, which you could argue the injury he sustained at Eastbourne in 2014 ultimately cost him the world title that year. suddenly that add on isn't very appealing
  4. one thing about this FTR rider moving up into main body of team once they get an average, what happens to the rider in the main body that they replace ? do they go into the reserve spot ? weren't FTR riders on a set amount of money per point ? does this change once they go into main body of the team
  5. where has all this Tai will only ride for Wolves stuff come from ? I haven't seen that in any articles anywhere, what I have seen is Pete Adams saying that he is happy to still help and support Tai in GP's while he isn't riding over here but that if Tai rides elsewhere in the UK then PA will stop helping him in GP's. that doesn't mean Tai will only ride for Wolves, he'll ride for who pays him best. that is if he wants to ride over here
  6. then we'll take a nice loan fee for the current world champion
  7. if he was signed I wouldn't bother trying to get into the play offs, bottler of the highest order
  8. by his management or the organisers ?
  9. I don't know he manages to be in the commentary position and up Darcy Ward's ar$e at the same time quite a lot.
  10. have just quickly looked back through the updates site and found the 2009 scores when he was a Bees rider. a home average of around 2.15 is what he ended the season with. that was with majority of meetings at reserve as well. looking at the meetings whilst he's been a wolves rider his scores are higher, in 6 meetings he's scored the following: 2011 - 3+1 at reserve 2012 - 7 and 7+1 in main body 2013 - 9 2014 - 6+1 2015 - 8+2 admittedly his scores have improved since he left but I can't say those are the scores of a track specialist
  11. I'd be looking at scores and record at the track before calling someone a track specialist.
  12. I'm a big Wells fan but even for me that is over exaggerating at it's best
  13. could argue that these 2 when picked were picked at the right time because they went on and won the title in the wildcard year. the problem with the wildcard is that a lot of the time it has been done so that there are enough from a certain nation involved. where Harris is concerned and Lindgren to a certain extent they both received wildcards when they didn't deserve them but they were at that time the better option from that nation.
  14. you could argue that the regular racing has helped Lambert progress this year, he won't need to double up for much longer after this season. however riders like Cook will as they've found there level
  15. what happens when you race Poole, does Ward ride like Bjarne used to against them
  16. all good and well CVS being honest with us and looking at riders, he was looking at riders last year and replaced the wrong one
  17. but this is Belle Vue so they'll let all the crowd in get the money then call it off 5 minutes before it's due to start
  18. surely the only place the British Final will end up at other than Monmore is the new Belle Vue track once it's built
  19. I wouldn't kill it entirely as it does help keep meeting interesting at times but I would amend the rules for it and instead of being able to use it when 6 points behind it should be 8 or 10 points behind so that a team using the joker can't pull all of the gap back to the leading team but some of it.
  20. that might have something to do with him launching himself at another person and ending up on his back
  21. this was posted on the updates site, not sure how true this is or if it works however. Heat 10: Wells,Aspergren,Covatti,Hansen...66.2 (3-3) 36-26 Line Up: Hansen , Wells , Boxall Aspergren , Covatti Comments: Aspergren replaces Boxall. Apparently Hansen has to score 6 or less to allow Wethers to go to reserve when Rusty Harrison is back.......
  22. they won't look for a sponsor they expect a sponsor to come to them and throw money at them they won't promote it as they don't even promote what they already have will charge about £25 a ticket to make up for no sponsor and small crowd size as not promoted
