  1. That’s one of those meetings that proves speedway still is the greatest sport on earth
  2. Not just riders the GP has a good british following even overseas, in Torun especially you see plenty of Brits and even ex British riders who don’t follow british speedway anymore, the one off world final along with 13 heats is I’m afraid rose tinted glasses view, it wasn’t better than the GP or 15 heats it was just the way it was
  3. It is one of those tracks where it is so wide the leader can’t defend himself and is open from attack from 2nd and as we have seen today even 3rd, it is not got a lot of dirt either
  4. I would happily drop gorzow for czestochowa, only downside it has no cover for fans so if it rains
  5. I understand if they have been gagged but that still shouldn’t have a bearing on the bspa putting out some of statement, it is very poor
  6. They must know it, but whoever try’s to address the issues and get control of the sport is going to as popular as syphilis in a lot of people’s eyes, while the sport is attending its own funeral there are some who are doing ok in their own little way and when you try to take that away is when the wall gets put up
  7. It has to be resolved somehow, the league depends on it, I don’t know how but this season has to make it too the end of season and then speedway in Britain has to change
  8. You could the rye house riders a call, unless they have been gagged they do know the whole story
  9. That was a hard lap from Doyle on dudek, fair play to dudek there was more than enough contact for him to go down
  10. My old mate sqora has got a team of misfiring riders ,dudek, zengota, Pepe and gomolski, only MJJ really lived up to their reputation so far this season
  11. Quite a few people know what’s going/gone on, let’s just hope a resolve can be found but I do think the bspa should make some sort of statement even if it doesn’t go into the major details especially for the rye fans more than anyone
  12. Russel took his share rightly or wrongly but that’s not the most, the majority went to the riders deals, and it wasn’t Ronnie Russell it was his brother
  13. Most of the sky money went to the riders but as people keep saying “they have to earn a living you know “ the same people who say the sky money was wasted
  14. This is a desperate situation for british speedway, it has to be resolved for the good of the premiership and British speedway in general but I just don’t know how it can be, sad sad times for our once great sport and I feel for the rye house fans and riders
  15. Pedersen should of gone there, don’t think he was playing the ref for that one but his mistake caused it
  16. I think it’s quite a good meeting, fair amount of passing in the last few heats
  17. You have to say mjj rides some strange lines, does nothing wrong really, nicki goes down too easily but at this level playing the ref is a good strategy and the riders are well aware of it
  18. I would rather dive head first onto drawing pin than watch soccer, behind tennis it really is the most boring sport
  19. I am beginning to wonder if bsi has run its course as far as GPs, there was no fanzone in Warsaw either and I saw that the classic speedway bikes are absent from Cardiff fanzone this year as their space is taken by some sponsor, I’m all for looking after sponsors but the clue is in the name fanzone, you start to ignore the fans and you get into the state british speedway is in, anyway he is hoping for some good racing
