Ive started another poll on twitter about admission price to speedway , please vote and retweet @deanfelton1👍🏻

while the lack of British riders is certainly an issue, even poor foreign riders can become heros for teams, while your points may be valid they are not the problem with team speedway in this country ,it has no identity and is just a free for all and that has nothing to do with lack of British riders, my two speedway heros were both foreigners

For Wroclaw which is really a dreadfull race track it wasnt to bad a meeeting but the tension made it captive viewing

the product in this country is faulty and until it is fixed no amount of plugging,advertising or publicity is going to change that ,you are selling a team sport with no teams just names , why cant we seem to grasp that ?

Emil on the wrong gate choice again , maybe in his head he thinks if he pics the best gate he puts extra pressure on himself , does seem odd decision

Could of gone either way , holder doesnt really hit him hard enough to fall and kildermand is a rider that does go down easy but touch him he does and my first instinct would be holder out

Scott nicholls was due to ride one at Somerset tonight but meeting got rained off

not true as shown on many posts on here and elsewhere, the real reason why they wont scrap it is because riders want it and they are running the sport these days for themselves ,

there is a mind set with younger riders that they have to have the same stuff as the world champion , the reality is you dont but thats what they want, its all well and good if you can afford the top equipment but if you cant and thats where 75% are at finacially in the sport, Ive sold a few bikes and parts over the years and given a fair bit away free and to be honest the reason I dont get involved with helping young riders is because they dont really want to listen to the likes of me , not that Im saying I know it all but they may go to a top riders training school and sit there and listen to them but 90% of them wont take it in , they will listen up to the point where the top rider will say something like you dont need a shiny new wheel and then they will switch off , I saw on Facebook a young rider had a few issues on a training day and had wrecked his chains and exhaust pipe , so I messaged him to say Ive got some new rear chains that I had picked up in box of spares that came with a classic bike I had brought and I had some exhaust pipes left over from my riding days, I told him he could have them for free , he came round but said he didnt want the chains as they were not gold couloured they were black , I said so what but no he wanted gold coloured one , they were brand new in a packet but he refused them , then I offered him 2 ex pipes , one was chrome but had a dent in or a plain one that had no dents and he chose the chrome one , I tried to help him but he knows best , needless to say he is still 2 years later he is in the amatuer scene .The things you hear off some riders who cant even get a skid on is laughable, try to explain to a young wannabe that a jawa front wheel 10 years old with new bearings that costs £20 spins at exactly the same speed as an anodised sm pro wheel which costs £200, its like explaining algebra they switch off , its all about the bling , try explaining the importance of good air filters , they would rather spend the money on a new coloured seat, this will never change and is not exclusive to speedway but the phrase all the gear no idea is very apt in lower speedway today, the bit that really gets me is bling is not needed in the national league but riders want it and they they say they cant make it pay and expect more money to fund their hobby , I really wish I was 20 years younger I would go out buy a bike for less than a £1000 and prove you dont need it at NL level , I said it before on here and its to any young rider , who would win a race out of you on the best bike money can buy with all the trick bits and Greg Hancock on a 20 year old jawa ? Until that answer is you your pouring money down the drain

I know🙁 I cant see a way back until we finish the sport in Britain while we have the current mind set , only then will people realise what a stupid mistake they have been making , if we can't get the basic principles right of team sport what chance do we have

that does nothing for identity and credibility, doubling up has to be scrapped

it doesn't matter who it was , it matters that there are people in the bspa who seem to be completely oblivious to the current state of speedway in Britain and think staying as we are with a couple of tweeks to the rules and days is going to see the sport survive, talk to the fans ,listen what they have to say , some of it may be crap but there is a genuine fear on the terraces that speedway is dying and we are close to the end , from asking fans and riders it seems to me the riders want one thing and the fans want another but the bspa are taking the riders side and that is going to end one way and we are already in the depths of that way

going to say I can't believe they would put tracks at risk of closing but thinking about it of course they would , the BSPA specialise in single minded self interest

i believe this was used at the start of the year and the SCB banned it

and right there in the first half of that post is everything that is wrong with the national league and why Jon cook shouldn't be let anywhere near it , I don't have a problem with Paul hurry riding in the national league but not at the expense of a young rider and definatly not for his £500 a meeting

easier to check weight but any suggestion that is mooted will be shot down by riders, Rev limiters only work if they are set below 11,000 revs and then they become dangerous , it's unlikely that rev limiter currently used gets hit on British tracks

you would think pawlicki would want to keep his nose clean,isn't he currently on a suspended sentence for hitting a bouncer in a nightclub ? Milik should of been excluded but it wasn't deliberate ,

I was also there on the 3rd may scoring 3+1 from 5 and again on 30th of august riding for Glasgow scoring 2 from 3
