Torun is the place to go , you are virtually on the track and in the old town after the meeting it is speedway central, on the subject of not many brits , more go to Torun but could it be we don't feel like we have anybody representing us ? This is not a "woofy is an Aussie " remark so please don't anybody turn this thread into an anti woofy one , it's just he is dividing fans at the moment and in previous years we had bomber to support , I will still be going Torun this year and possibly gorgow but only cause I love the places as I feel like we have nobody for GB, that's just my personal opinion and I can understand if Brits are not going for the same reason

but you can clearly see with pedersen he has no speed in his bikes especially on the straights , he is getting into scoring positions and the following riders are all over him, he can't pull away that's not desire that's engine, you can see his frustration as he is riding the rider and not the race and it's costing him, a rider who has no desire won't mix it, pedersen is still mixing it just not got the power to back it up

Fast freddie is just a knickname , freddie is a very clever rider who knows a throttle works both ways.a good example of this was the gp last night , in one race Freddie gets caught on the outside of 2 riders , instead of keeping the throttle wide open and just going for it as some riders do he shuts off briefly turns the bike hard and cuts back up the inside and he presto next corner he is in front

i read Bradley Wilson dean is also getting one

ok Freddie is using the same piston rod, flywheel ,valves ,springs , bearings, shafts all used in a standard GTR , he may use a different cam or not but everything is is the same , so unless you can think of any other special parts ? . There is no need to change the bits as top bits are already fitted, some tuners may disagree that the parts used are any good but the point is they are working , they are lasting so why would he change, Freddie is a very intelligent rider, who knows the throttle works both ways and yes he has gerhard in his corner but once the engine is in the bike even gerhard cant change any engine part , so it's down to a clever rider and team to set the engine up

polish carbs are no different to any other carb , every rider uses blixt all over the world

it is the same engine/ same parts but he obviously changes the settings to suit him

the GTR you buy is the same one that Freddie uses same parts etc but you may have change settings to suit you but it is the same engine and parts , the point being if it's totally reliable and as Freddie has proved fast enough then I can see a few more appearing at a higher level , a couple of the top poles have them and are testing them but as yet none are being used in league racing over there

but that could happen at any GP and Warsaw is indoors and also many brits and other country's fans travel to polish GPs and want to go see some extraleague the next day , does seem strange not to but guess they have their reasons

Unreal from pedersen , again rides to stop lindback and when lindback dives under him he shakes his head and gestures

Terrible decision , pedersen is concentrating so much on stoping lindbacks run he leaves a huge hole and zagar takes it

interseting he said decision could of gone either way , really ?I'm no fan of woffinden but he is reading the first corners perfectly and that's what makes world champs

Decent start to meeting , lindgren or zmarslik for champ this year for me , hope it's lindgren had a bet on him

The poles are showing fitting respect to Tomasz Gollob on canal + ,just thinking about Gollob has any rider ever been so important to their country's speedway as Gollob was to poland , when he hit the big time he brought the whole country to the world stage , there has been well known poles from way back but he was the one who made them a force in world speedway

A building is just a building without a track , where is the track ? Or is that being built off site too , my guess is there is some sort of community sports hall that they are saying is the stadium that is going to be put there and they are just buying time till they can get the current track gone

have we grown as a country ? For the last 15 years I think we are going backwards , polish speedway is just doing what we should be , putting its loyal fans first

For me he has declared himself unavailable to represent GB so that means he is unavailible , you can't pick and choose when it suits and to dictate who he rides with is just pig headed

but the point is it shouldn't be about money at this level , they are their learning their trade ,trying to be speedway riders , they are not supposed to be making money at it, they should be getting laps in ,learning how to race ,learning how to master their craft ,learing how to be in a team ,learning how to ride every sort of track from smooth to rough ,big to small, grippy to slick but we have made our bed and now we have to lie in it and its the tracks like buxton who suffer

whilst I agree zmartlik should of been excluded not woofy , woofy does go straight and not turn his natural turn to block his move but he was in front so did nothing wrong , I also think the exclusion of kasprazak was wrong , you don't lose control like that on a straight without contact

what was the difference from kildermands move from woofys move in Wroclaw v gorzow meeting? , both went straight to stop the opposition , but woofy got excluded

i do think they could point to kildermands less than sportsman like first turn in heat 15 as impeding Hancock but other than that they were beat by a better team
