You're joking. No wonder Belle Vue got into financial difficulties with the money they were allegedly paying him to ride for them. Depends how much he's got to pay to rent the stadium. All the admission money won't be going straight into his pocket any more so he won't be getting as much as he has in previous years.

After the Coventry promoters were having to be beholding to Sandhu and pay rental to hire the stadium/all the refreshments money went to him does anyone think Sandhu wouldn't want to be in the reverse position and have Mick Horton in control of everything? I can't check as all my programmes go in the bin the next day (okay my own printed ones to be correct which is why I'd rather put the money towards my petrol from Leicester) but I'm pretty sure Danny rode in quite a few heat 15's. Why I'm so sure is the friend I sit with, who has also supported him at Birmingham, always said 'Oh no not Danny in heat 15 as he never does any good.' This comment then had to be retracted after the race as he rode brilliantly.
