  1. I thought Danny had already gone? Would love him back but hey ho. No thanks to Troy Bachelor and that goes for the other whingeing Aussie Davey Watt too, just in case the promotion have him on their list of 9 riders. Would love to see Kylmakorpi back again and perhaps Scott would like to see out his career at Coventry being as Chris Harris has gone?
  2. You might regret saying that. Anyway, here's a little snippet so make yourself comfortable, get the popcorn opened and a bottle of pop and have a read of this thread which I've managed to find. Edit........Blimey! I didn't realise there were 26 pages. Better make that two bags of popcorn and another bottle of pop. http://www.speedway-forum.co.uk/forums/index.php?showtopic=70472&hl=slough
  3. No you have him as that will stop Coventry getting any daft ideas.
  4. Plus there might be some more Polish parties to attend.
  5. You're obviously quite new on here? On going joke that you've probably missed. Mind you gustix liked your post so he's no doubt missed the joke as well.
  6. As he misses meetings due to the SEC perhaps that wouldn't be such a bad thing?
  7. Yes. I hadn't missed Cradley off as they were included in the 'Etc.' bit.
  8. It might sound like a good idea but very rarely works out for an E.L. team to run in the N.L as well. Coventry Storm's attendances were awful this season as fans weren't interested in what they perceive to be inferior racing. Even Poole gave up running a N.L. team after a couple of years. The only way National League racing works is when it's the only option ~ like Birmingham, Eastbourne, Buxton etc.
  9. Nothing seriously needs changing ~ just alter bends 1 and 2 like they did bends 3 and 4. The racing was noticeably better this season and could be improved even more if they do this.
  10. I thought that had already been cleared out before the Stock Car World Final as they needed the space? Apologies if I'm thinking of the wrong area. Anyway, he's left now so will no doubt have to find somewhere else. Perhaps Neil Middleditch has a garage he can use. Sorry but I don't agree. The dinner/dance is mainly for the fans so whatever grievances he had with the Coventry promotion should have been put aside for that one evening.
  11. Got the hump didn't he because he had to pay for his other half.
  12. Every woman and her dog too. Sorry messed my reply up but I'm using a phone.
  13. You say 'Aces fans' but how do you know it wasn't just one? Hardly likely to have been heard by Tai anyway as I'm sure with his big mouth he would have said something during one of his interviews. I can't see anything wrong with a bit of 'Who are ya?' chanting, which I could hear on YouTube when watching the match later. It all seemed to add to the atmosphere.
  14. Always the same in big stadiums where fans are spread around. The only reason why no-one mentions Wolves is because everyone is packed into the same bit, otherwise it seems to be fair game ~ especially when matches are on Sky ~ to say how small the crowd is.
  15. No fireworks are there? If so I need to get Lucy out pretty sharpish at the end.
  16. Back to normality now after supporting Wolves against Poole. Come on the Aces.
  17. Scrap KK and that would make a cracking PL team. I live in hope as I've had enough of the Elite League thanks.
  18. I can't be doing with all these rumours. Coventry Speedway Limited, owners of Coventry Stadium, Leicester Speedway Limited, Beaumont Park....whatever the other company is called. Wake me up when season 2017 starts and I might consider going to watch some Speedway.
  19. It isn't after this season but Sandhu has to rent off Mick to run the stock cars next year so it's in everyone's best interests that they get on.
  20. Thanks. Can't say I've heard of him though. Perhaps one of the new ones? Doubt it, although yes he does deserve it. More than likely just keeping a low profile because his beloved Poole lost and almost everyone, bar Pirate fans, are chuffed to bits.
  21. He's only had one at Coventry hasn't he? That was his own fault too as he clipped the back wheel of his team mate Darcy Ward. It could have happened anywhere. Chris is one of the very few Aussie's that I actually like but I'm still hoping we ride in the Premier League next season so won't want him anyway.
  22. Thanks very much for that link. I will enjoy watching it later. Who was the referee anyone know?
  23. Shame. I'm gutted. Never mind though the top team could still become the champions. No-one remembers who was second best.
  24. It seems a Voodoo Doll works as well. I can put the needles back in the sewing box again now. Well done Wolves. Yes, you're right. Coventry antagonised him by having the cheek to beat the Pirates home and away in 2010 when he clearly thought the title was in the bag having been top of the league for so long. That was a bad mistake on Coventry's part.
