  1. Yeah... another 12 home meeting season beckons... of which, with committments, i'll be lucky if I see half of em. Does make you ponder.
  2. They'll probably be the 3 remaining riders... questions are, once Picko gets a new average... who will be the sacrificial lamb/s? and who will be their replacement/s
  3. “Same person who put the bore in your banter.”
  4. There is another scenario for 2027... Maybe the BSPA can discuss with their counterparts in Denmark and Sweden about forming a European League... Leave Poland to their own devices. The top 5 teams from each nation could form a league? Just a thought...
  5. Perpaps the BSPA should consult with counterparts in Denmark and Sweden about the possibility of a future European League (Leave Poland out of it). Instead of a PL, the top 4/5 British Teams could compete in a European Competition... Leave the CL and NDL as is... The BSPA should at least consider the idea at the AGM... Might be many reasons why it can't happen???
  6. Needs to be an out n out No1... Keep Stevie Worrall and Luke Harrison at all costs.
  7. Thing is... Yes, they're all good lads... yes, they all do their best..... but as a team, the quality just ain't there, we should at least be competitive at home. I didn't go tonight.. despondent... I ain't paying £25 to watch 15 heats expecting us to lose ...add to that, waiting 30-45 mins for the next meeting (which I'd probs only endure about 5 heats).. It's hard work being a Scorpions fan at the minute.
  8. As far as the result/points were concerned, the meeting was done n dusted. Dec and Luke had been taken out of rides earier on... Rob gave them the opportunity to get more track time and chance to earn some more pennies... IMO, nowt wrong with that. As a big fan of Luke Harrison, I was pleased to see him nominated for ht15.
  9. Scunny beaten by the better side, no doubt about it.... Fair play to Poole, some awesome racing, ran out worthy victors. Changes needed for Scunny next year, we can't go on with a team of second strings... it's demoralising.
  10. Barker totally in the wrong to stop a race by placing his bike across the start line... should've been thrown out the meeting.
  11. Ricky Ashworth highsided,, went over the handlebars and landed on the track... he didn't make direct contact with the fence.
  12. Some fantastic racing... credit to both teams. Shame about the tapes fiasco though, somewhat ruined a good meeting.. Poor refereeing, shocking. Hope that's the last we see of Seth Perkin at Scunny for a while.
  13. That was some effort from Scunny... smashed it... bring on the Pirates.
  14. Well done Scunny... great all round effort got us over the line. Special mention to Ashton Boughen, great guest performance.
  15. Losing Wrighty after two rides was tough on Redcar, who knows how that may have affected to overall result. That said, great team effort from Scunny,... 3 out of 3, keep it going boys
  16. He keeps investing. This year.. a new scoreboard.. new stand.. additional lighting... all out said back pocket. I'm sure he's aware of the PA issues and I'm sure he'll work to put it right.
  17. Totally agree... music was awful. I think Rob did appear on the centre green with mic in hand, perhaps by then the speakers had given up the ghost or perhaps the guy in the control box had gone awol??
  18. Poole Glasgow Redcar ................... Berwick/Scunthorpe/Edinburgh/Oxford/Workington (in no particular order) .................... Plymouth
  19. Granted, not the strongest line up..... It's gonna need some riders to up their game, that's for sure. With no Dougie, it just looks like a Scorpions team of yesteryear... But that's what we got, we'll support them whatever... Up the Scorps.
  20. Bomber bringing off Douglas was racing... and fair play to Bomber, he knew it......however, that move by Vissing on Ablitt was wreckless
