Technically its completely different. If he had ridden last night then said he wasn't fit to ride today and then ridden on Friday it would be the same as covatti .likewise if he rides Friday but is unfit for the stars next week but rides elsewhere

You're right there have been a good few ,but to be fair, on the flip side there have been numerous times when Buster has bust a gut to re lay the track only for riders to refuse to go out, so in one respect I can sort of get it Still not raining though Update at 18.55. 8 miles away and we've got some light drizzle. Personally I don't simply because it favours the teams that build with stronger heat leaders,rather than strength in depth.It must influence team building to a certain extent, for what is little more than a gimic.
