  1. Assuming we are running, Anders deserves to be the first name on the team sheet next season at no.6, building around him, Jan, niels and Nicolai( and in an ideal world,Robert)
  2. Let's just hope that the track isn't too slick then, although keeping the moisture in will be a challenge today.im working about 100m from the stadium today and its chuffing hot and pretty breezy too
  3. Well, thats obvious isn't it? Who in their right mind would pay 50p per mile to bring a rider in from Jupiter? Long way to go for a rain off too, and they would have had to leave months ago .........
  4. Technically its completely different. If he had ridden last night then said he wasn't fit to ride today and then ridden on Friday it would be the same as covatti .likewise if he rides Friday but is unfit for the stars next week but rides elsewhere
  5. They don't seem to have affected his form for Scunthorpe though
  6. The silence from saddlebow Road is deafening. Are the Stars looking to strengthen up after a dismal start to the season,or has the towel been thrown in already? Rumours abound regarding Jan Kvech, but no press updates other than " we hope tobi is back next week"
  7. But Freddie will be riding in Britain , where he is a much better rider than Laguta
  8. So can I, I can also recall more than once riders kicking up a stink and not wanting to ride on the re- layed track, and Buster getting really p1ssed off
  9. You're right there have been a good few ,but to be fair, on the flip side there have been numerous times when Buster has bust a gut to re lay the track only for riders to refuse to go out, so in one respect I can sort of get it Still not raining though Update at 18.55. 8 miles away and we've got some light drizzle. That'll do it then
  10. 8miles South West of the stadium and the sun is breaking through the light clouds
  11. Yes, that was part of the ,ahem, excuse, for cancelling. Rain forecast tomorrow meaning no time to prepare the track after stock cars
  12. Weve been saying this for years, it needs to be rounder, but would be a massive job bringing the corners in ,with all that concrete
  13. I think if we must havexa superheat then maybe a superheat after both legs if the scores are tied on aggregate
  14. As you said, you have your opinion, as do I, it doesn't mean I'm right . Youve seen positives in it first hand, which is good.
  15. Personally I don't simply because it favours the teams that build with stronger heat leaders, rather than strength in depth. It must influence team building to a certain extent, for what is little more than a gimic.
  16. Hopefully Puk brings his gating gloves, otherwise I think Richard Lawson will get the better of him in 2 and 8, and if I remember right, Toby has taken a heat or 2 to get going although I'm probably wrong, other than that, I think tofty, Ben and tarasenko should get the better of their opposite numbers, Anders Rowe should do better than both of Leicesters reserves, and then its down to Patrick,if he does well , 50-40 or there abouts
