No 'D' in the middle of Shielfield. On gate & go, Berwick is a big fast track with most times sub 66 seconds, at those speeds never really going to be any major passing, when the racing is more in the 67/68 seconds with closer racing then passing is a possibility. For those racers who complain about Berwick having no passing because it is gate & go, then I have the answer GATE & GO and stop blo*dy moaning.

On you Berwick management points, I do so much agree with you, I think they need a mentor to help them while getting around trying to manage, perhaps someone like Tom Graham who has so much knowledge of team tactics.

Absolutely agree, PL should start on 1st April and the fixture list should be organised so that every team has a meeting every week (unless totally unavoidable), they have all winter to work it out, it's not rocket science. Berwick had only 2 meetings in May and 2 meetings in June at home, if they want to run the League Cup & the PLKOC, run them at the end of the season, with no interference to the League.

I would be as bold to say that since Saturday we have the best 2 reserves in the league, and the best 2 reserves since 2005, when we had Karl Wilkinson, Chris Schramm and Adam Piatrasko swapping places all season, Adam had two 21s that season

Being at reserve is a bonus for him at the moment, gives him that extra earning power to keep his equipment top notch. He will be just as good in the main body of the team as at reserve. I said to you before the season he would be OK, as he had got all of the demons out of his head. Under the circumstances Edberg in for Carr, was a good move, if the 6 riders had all put about .25 on their average, could have carried Carr, but certain riders are well down on their starting average, so this move now strengthens our bottom end, at this moment I would say the strongest reserve pairing in the league

A certain visiting gentleman said on Sat, track 100% better than it was, they are now half way to getting a really well prepared track
