  1. YAHOO! back on line properly, blo*dy internet at times, been off for a week, had to bring in my 'My-Fy', expensive option. Enjoyed Saturday night, albeit against one on the poorest Sheffield team in a long time, the only merit was Simon Stead his usual around Shielfield. Al of our team with their racing heads on, winning against a poor team, but still an enjoyable evening of racing. The next two meetings at home are much sterner tests, so keep your heads together lads. On another subject, 'Forum Fannies & Doom & Gloom Merchants', the weather updates on this site are often requested and are welcomed by travellers who travel 100s of miles, if i had just driven 400 miles to find the meeting called off, especially when weather forecasting is so good nowadays, I would be sorly pissed off.
  2. The sun has got it's hat on , hip hip hooray, and we are all off to speedway :D
  3. Sorry matey, Berwick upon Tweed is most definately in England
  4. Apart from the oval ball game, nowt's a sport unless it has an engine
  5. Total farce, Berwick had 2 meetings in May and 2 meetings in June, then 2 weeks in Sept and 2 weeks in Oct are taken up by The Play Offs. Everyone then sits back and wonder why we caanot get the rain offs fitted in. Needs to get a proper structure, the powers that be, need the proverbial kick up the backside.
  6. Still don't understand the logic of play offs, at the end of the season the team with the most points is the winner. If it is used to stretch the season out, then the league structure is set up wrong, change it to we meet each other twice home & away.
  7. Temperature has just dropped dramatically, and a keen wind, better cross your toes aswell. Could be The Grove to watch World Cup
  8. Should have had a heavy rain at 15.00, didn't get it, still giving rain from 19.00 onwards. Lovely at the moment
  9. Bold statement from you my friend, DRY? :drink: then you get to the stadium
  10. The forecast from met office 09.00 till 12.00 rain ( it has eased off at the moment 10.55) 12,00 till 17,00 overcast no rain 17.00 till 19.00 light rain 19.00 till 20.00 heavy rain 20.00 till 24.00 light rain FINGERS CROSSED EVERYONE
  11. 8.00 till 12.00 rain 12.00 till 16.00 heavy rain 16.00 till 24.00 light rain Think you are right
  12. I hope not, but as long as its on and competetive, thats really what matters. Good luck to your team but better luck to ours :drink:
  13. Back into the pockets of the promoters then, not designated to help British riders. A good accountant will soon stop any profits being shown
  14. Enjoyed the world cup in the Grove, nice to be in the old stamping ground with a load of speedway friends. They only have 1 weekday spare, and the 27th Sept after that 18th and 25th Oct
  15. Not the best forecast for Sat, rain for the afternoon, heavier between 17.00 and 19,00

  18. Don't forget little Ben aswell, he did not like our slick track at all. For me Heppy will get it sorted eventually, while we are waiting it is certain;ly suiting our riders, keep up the good work Heppy
  19. Got them at Berwick aswell, been trying to get our Beat Officer, for them to collect their script off a dispensing raft in the middle of the Tweed
